I have no idea why this property has such a low rating. It is a budget accommodation ffs. Rooms aren’t new, but clean, shower has good pressure and hot water, staff is smiling and helpful, speed of internet is enough for general use, like YouTube.
I suspect that people hat choose this place are so poor that expect 5* hotel for this money. This is the cheapest in Male, this isn’t Thailand or Kuala Lumpur.
Why would you try to hurt this business is beyond me.
Don’t look at it through your cheap fake ray bans. Have a broader view, and remember where you are. Be greatful a bit.

Che dire, camere piccole, molto sporche con insetti tra cui scarafaggi che girano, rumore tutta la notte, in un posto per niente turistico. Da evitare. In più ci hanno fatto pagare due volte la tassa di soggiorno. Non abbiamo osato provare la colazione.

Hotel was terrible. When You walk into the room, it smell like something already dead inside. Credit card machine doesn’t work. Really noise coze just behind the wall there was construction works. It was nightmare. We spoke with women in reception about the problem but nobody care about that. We spent there only few hours coze and never again.

It was horrible night for us, couldn't sleep due to "Bed Bugs". Room was very small,not clean, pillows are very old,no exhaust fan in toilet, no soap, used shampoo and conditioner, Etc,. Totally disaster...

Нам нужно было скоротать ночь перед нашим ранним рейсом домой. Поэтому выбрали этот отель, он был самым недорогим с бесплатной отменой и оплатой на месте. Из плюсов: 1. Бесплатный завтрак. 2. Заселили в 12:30 без вопросов, мы думали, что придется ждать 14:00. 3. Отель расположен в 2 минутах от причала, куда уходят катера в аэропорт и 2 минуты до автобусной остановки, откуда уезжают автобусы в аэропорт. Из минусов: 1. Плохой ремонт и состояние отеля.
Грязно и пыльно. Малюсенькие комната с окном в шахту. Одно полотенце на двоих. Пастельное белье и полотенца серого цвета с пятнами. Матрас кравати - доска. Не знаю не можно спать в таких условия, я провела там только несколько часов. На английском, немецком, русском на рецепции не говорят.
This is my second visit to this property. I have never had such a terrible experience in my life. I have made the decision to stay here again after a year. I was thinking that things could change now. I was scheduled to have a medical appointment at 10:00am. I arrived at the hotel around 8:30. Since I'm also working at a 5-star property in the Maldives, I was very aware of the check-in and check-out times. I went to the reception and asked the receptionist if it is possible to check in now. His response was extremely rude. No, I can't wait for one hour. I said no problem, but I really want to use the restroom now. He said 'go and use the restaurant's bathroom'. I quietly left the place and came back after 1 hour 30 minutes . I met one old lady (maybe the manager) who was sitting at the reception. I asked her if the room is ready? She said the room is not ready and our check-in time is at 12:00. I told her that I am aware of the check-in time, but the guy who was here before asked me to come after an hour. She mentioned that the room won't be ready right now and my staff will clean it, which will take roughly 2 hours. I was really upset by the way she responded to me. She was distracted by playing her phone without even looking at me. I asked why you didn't inform me earlier so that I wouldn't have to waste my time here. She initiated a rude conversation with me and requested me to complete the check-in process. I made the decision to leave the place. I don't think she has any expertise in hospitality or how to communicate with their customers. As I mentioned, I had a very bad experience during my previous stay at this hotel. The staff is smoking on the stairs. The beds are outdated and the bed sheets were filled with spots and holes. The staff is unfriendly towards their customers. Especially the lady ( manager I guess ). The air conditioner is not working properly. The smell of the room is reminiscent of old wooden furniture. I will never visit this place and I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Terrible Experience at Off Day Inn Male I must express my utmost disappointment with the appalling treatment received during my recent stay at your establishment. Despite assurances of a reasonable daily rate and the option for a late check-out, the reality was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was blindsided by unexpected charges, completely contradicting the terms initially agreed upon. This blatant disregard for transparency and fairness left me feeling exploited and vulnerable. In a distressing turn of events, I found myself in a situation where im no longer felt safe staying alone. This forced me to seek the company of a friend for added security, highlighting the failure of your hotel to provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests. To make matters worse, the response from the hotel owner was nothing short of abysmal. Instead of addressing the concerns raised, they responded with rudeness and indifference, demonstrating a shocking lack of professionalism and empathy. As someone who previously spoke highly of your establishment, I am ashamed to have recommended it. The treatment I endured is simply unacceptable, and I can assure you that my experience will be shared widely to warn others of the deplorable standards at your hotel. It is my sincere hope that you take this feedback seriously and take immediate steps to rectify these issues.

Now A/C No Hot Water No Drinking Water No tea bags and any other things for prepare tea Bad and other things are very not clean enough Overall facilities are not satisfied. I have already informed these issues for hotel management they didn't give any solution.
