烏龜灣泳灘俱樂部(Turtle Bay Beach Club)

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura con un gruppo organizzato e devo dite che la soluzione a mio avviso è più che buona sia per quanto riguarda le camere, sia per la ristorazione sempre varia e con ampissima scelta. Si trova fronte spiaggia . Una pecca riguarda l'area riservata con lettini e ombrelloni che è molto limitata e per riservarsi un posto occorre occuparlo dall'alba.

Metto una stella perché di meno non si può. Struttura vecchia e mal tenuta, soprattutto le camere con formiche, ruggine e scrostazioni. La finestra si chiudeva con grande difficoltà e non c’erano prese USB per caricare telefono (dovevamo recarci in reception appositamente). Il vero problema era il cibo, di bassa qualità: ci adattiamo a tutto ma questo risponde a una logica di quantità e non interessa nulla la bontà del cibo (es. le bibite sembravano allungate..) Note positive: personale molto cortese e la posizione è ottima. Consiglio magari per famiglie con bambini (c’erano molte attività organizzate) e magari la sera scappate chiedendo un Tuc Tuc verso altri ristoranti

Struttura non perfettamente curata. Le stanze sono vecchie e senza wifi le parti comuni carine ma poco utilizzabili. Da segnalare che in Agosto non è possibile utilizzare la spiaggia davanti perché è pienissima di alghe. Non è possibile nemmeno fare il bagno. Ci si deve obbligatoriamente spostare in altre spiagge, cosa veramente scomoda. Il cibo poco vario ma buono.

Once more back to our much loved Turtle Bay Beach Club in Watamu, Kenya. My wife and I have speny many happ years in this hotel with all our friends (known as staff ). There is so much to see and do in this area of Kenya and TBBC is the perfect place to start. You will find the people here, both in the hotel and the locals outside, very friendly and welcoming. It is a very safe are with some great places to eat out. The seafood here is particularly good with prices just great. Getting here is easy, check out Kenya Airways or Ethiopian Airways.

We're back once again at Turtle Bay after a 5-year break, and we were slightly apprehensive that the pandemic would've taken its toll on this lovely place. However, against all odds, they have managed to keep the charm the hotel always had. As many others have said, the staff make this stay special. Not just the staff we've seen many times before, but the trainees who are currently gaining valuable experience and doing a fantastic job. If you're looking for a break on a beautiful piece of coastline, with plenty to do, see, eat, drink, and buy, you'll not be disappointed. The trips are plentiful, both with the hotel or venturing out to the beach or the village to meet the friendly locals. A smile and polite manner goes a long way. You can book a safari if you wish before you visit, or you can book something while you're here. We're already trying to plan our next trip here, and we haven't even left yet.

The all inclusive is a very good deal,they are generous with bottled water in the rooms and that is a huge plus.The extended check out was awesome,it was a pleasant surprise.The children are very happy maybe a little more indulgence at the kids park to keep various age groups engaged.Overall they score way up as a facility.I am definitely going back to turtle bay.

After a gap of 10 years my wife and I decided to go back to TBBC , we were a bit apprehensive after reding some poor reviews on Trip Advisor but after just a few minutes we felt so at home and made very welcome , this is down to the staff that we met Ratabu,Masha, Khamish and Kedenge to name but a few but the one who stands out the most was Trainee Kombe , even though he has been at TBBC for less than a year he has the ethos of TBBC that we remembered from our previous 3 visits. He is the main reason that we have booked again to come with our son and his partner in September and we hope that Kombe will still be there. The food is good , if you don't find something on the menu to your taste you can go for a pizza or dine early on the great choice of snacks . Our lamu room looked out onto the pool and was kept spotless everyday by our cleaner (great job) . This is not a 4 - 5 star hotel set at european standards , this is a small hotel in Africa where if you immerse yourself in the Kenyan culture you will leave a better person. Il trattamento del soggiorno: 6 notti in pensione completa. La posizione della struttura è ottimale (fronte spiaggia). Per quanto riguarda la struttura è in ordine ma necessita un aggiornamento/risistemazione. La camera è datata, ha bisogno di lavori di risistemazione. La pulizia è buona. Per quanto riguarda la cucina: dal mio punto di vista da migliorare la qualità del cibo e di alcuni dei piatti proposti. Il personale è gentile e disponibile ma si evidenzia, principalmente nella zona ristorante che non è stato per nulla formato nel servizio, non c'è un coordinatore o se c'è a sua volta non ha la visione del lavoro da svolgere per creare le migliori condizioni prima di tutto per lo staff che gli è affidato. Di conseguenza per il cliente. Un + è da dare al servizio lavanderia, puntuale e veloce (importante alla consegna se si paga in contanti farsi rilasciare la ricevuta firmata e timbrata)
