STAY AWAY!!! I have never been treated so poorly by any company in my life. We arrived at the hotel at 5pm to be told that the room type (two queen beds) we booked weeks ago was unavailable. The woman at the front desk started to see if she could help us with another room type for our family of four. That is when the manager walked over and abruptly stopped her and said she canceled our reservation an hour ago and there was nothing for us. She absolutely refused to help us. Her reasoning was that ******* often over books room types. When I asked why wasn’t I notified sooner than an hour AFTER check-in starts, she told me that they don’t see their bookings until 3pm each day! She said ******* should have call me to tell me it was cancelled! Canceled while we were traveling to the hotel!?!Meanwhile, the hotel had my information. The manager could have call me. The proof is the credit card charge on my account. Now I have the pleasure of not only my weekend being ruined, but fighting with the bank to have the charge removed. Hilton, how is this a way to run a business and treat your customers? All the hotels in the area were booked. We had to miss our event, turn around and drive the four hours with our two young kids back home. My family will never book any Hilton hotel again!
