This motel is centrally located, only a two minute drive to town. It suited our needs as we went down for the Cherry Festival. Older accomodation, needs a revamp. The beds were moderately comfortable, the lounge was very bare - only one three seater lounge for four of us! We stayed in the Family Unit, which was a good size for our group. The unit could have been cleaned better - as we had to keep our shoes on due to the dirty floor. Not sure when it was washed last. It suited our needs for the weekend, the price was good but we would not stay here again.

Staff were amazing publican was a legend also the local footy team showed up and was a orsome night.

Staying at the Hotel for one night passing through. Lovely clean, bright and big room. Everything you need. Just had a meal in the bistro - oh my days 10 out of 10 the best food I’ve had in 8 weeks since arriving from the uk. Lamb chops were perfect and the chicken schnitzel was sooooo tasty, order a side of veg which was cooked to perfection. Well done and thank you.

We wanted to watch the Rugby (Nz v Au) being played same day and time as the AFL final. The management couldn’t have been more accommodating, AFL big screen inside and Rugby for us in the garden bar. Huge thank you from two kiwi travellers. The food was superb, plenty of beverage choice and locals who made us welcome.

Our room looked nice. I think it’s been renovated in the last few years. The bed and pillows were super comfy but that’s where the good parts end. The aircon made a jackhammer type noise (quieter but the same fast vibration type sound) There’s mould growing behind the aircon. We were awake at 5:30am as the sun streamed straight through the bulky cheap wooden blinds. No safety deposit box in the room. Room wasn’t cleaned or restocked with coffee etc. The bathroom window is designed so that it doesn’t close. All the cigarette smoke from nearby rooms was wafting in to our room. We spoke to a man in a near by room who had been setting off his smoke alarm— by booking the kettle!

We tried it again. It is a basic stay no frills, nice continental breakfastclean and close to town. Good for the Cherry festival but please don't have the Friday steak/chips special for $15 it was horrible. I wonder why they do this with such lovely local produce available.No we will not stay again. Must try other accommodation for the festival.
