A nice big hotel in a convenient location. Check in & check out was efficient. Double/twin room is specious. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Provided water, coffee, tea, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, beauty kit, shaving kits, comb, slippers. Very good restaurant, Delicious food. Staffs speak English & helpful. Overall a good hotel.

Visited November 2023; A five-star hotel located in the city within the business district. The hotel had a grand reception and entrance that led into the piano bar, restaurant and outside terrace that were lovely. The room was generous in size and lush. A king sized bed, four piece bathroom and ample space to relax. The roof terrace adjacent to the gym and spa were welcomed additions. The terrace itself had a pool, wrought iron sun-loungers and a 180° sea view. The terrace had a great view of the Maputo-Katembe bridge, the longest suspension bridge on the African continent. From the hotel the cathedral, botanical gardens and Praça da Independência are in easy walking distance as is Club Naval. The food, service and bar were excellent - highly recommended.

Really nice place to stay. Very quiet, clean and great customer service. Also, breakfast is amazing where you get various choices at your disposal. Another thing is the hotel is right on Nyerere avenue which means you have easy access to so many interesting places in the city.

The hotel is very underrated. I have stayed at other hotels in Maputo and decided to give this one a try and its been a very very pleasant stay. The room are large, and comfortable. Everything is clean and well appointed and all amenities were fine. Breakfast is very good and the staff are all helpful and friendly. Given that its cheaper than some of the other 4/5 star hotels in Maputo its definitely great value. I won't hesitate to return.

Excelentes quartos, muito bem insonorizados, sem problemas de luz a entrar no quarto de madrugada, cama grande e boa. Tem uma pequena piscina no terraço, muito bom pequeno, muito bem localizado na melhor área da cidade de Maputo. Pessoal simpático e prestável

Hotel is in the middle of town with a busy street right in front. Fortunately once you get in - you are in a peaceful environment. The location means you have access to many restaurants within walking distance. Staff are extemely pleasant and helpful. The gym is on the top floor - but one cannot access it from the stairs. You can only exit but not enter through the stairs. Just a bit annoying. They said it was for security. . Otherwise lovely stay

Os funcionários são todos duma amabilidade extrema. O pequeno almoço é sublime. Adorei e a partir de agora será sempre o meu hotel em Maputo! É um hotel excepcional! Vale mesmo a pena! É simplesmente fantástico!

The staff were exceptionally courteous and professional. I felt really welcome from check in to check out. The room was so tidy and quiet and the breakfast was amazing. They serve really good coffee. The location is also great with good restaurants nearby. I had an ultimate rest because the bed was soooo good.

I stayed here for 2 weeks in September/October 2025 and here are my observations: Good things: In general a really good hotel. It is clean. It is relatively quiet. The air-conditioning in the room is effective and the warm water in the shower is of satisfactory temperature and pressure. The breakfast is decent. The staff is attentive and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, with many good restaurants right around the corner, grocery store close by etc. Bad things: First of all the WiFi speed is really bad. It seems to be capped at 5mbit/s. The range is good, with me having good reception basically everywhere in the hotel and their gardens, but the speed? I'm quite disappointed by it. Working from the hotel is possible, just don't expect to use any big files because you will be waiting forever for them to download. I previously stated the staff is great. Which they are. Unless you order anything food or drinks related. In the piano bar it takes absolutely forever to get food. But worse than that, when it's time to get the bill to sign it to the room it regularly takes 15 minutes. Just to get the bill! In the end I asked for the bill the moment I ordered my food, in that case the bill came when the food arrived and I didn't have to wait for it. This is not only the case with food but when you only have drinks as well. To be honest it's better to go down to the other restaurants which are both cheaper and faster. In general a good experience. If the hotel fixes those 2 things it would get a full 5 stars.
