Die Abreise ist uns schwer gefallen, die bezaubernde Familie ist immer freundlich, gut gelaunt und am lachen. Der älteste Sohn Nishal spricht sehr gut Deutsch und kümmert sich rührend um die Gäste, man kann sich mit allen Fragen an ihn wenden, er gibt gute Tipps, bietet Touren an und begleitet die Gäste auf Wunsch. Zum Frühstück hat man die Wahl zwischen europäischen und landestypischen Essen und es ist mehr als ausreichend. Von der Menükarte haben wir während unserem Aufenthalt fast alles probiert und lieben das Chickencurry sowie die devilled Gerichte. Wir können diesen Familienbetrieb nur weiter empfehlen.

Wunderschöne Lage auf einem Berg und doch direkt am Meer schöne Zimmer und super essen 1 Woche verbrachten wir im Panorama Hotel und wahren rund um zufrieden auch das Personal war immer super freundlich und steht’s hilfsbereit wir werden auf jeden fall wieder kommen

We were travelling in 5 and booked 2 double and one single room. When we arrived, there was a discussion about breakfast. It seemed that a basic one should be included, but the owner said that he sent a message that we had to pay for it. As he became immediately aggressive, we decided to have lunch in another place and reflect a little bit. Walking around we saw a place that is not attractive. We returned to the guesthouse, the smell of smoke was still 3 hours later in the room. The owner was unfriendly so we decided to leave. The guesthouse asked one of us 7$ to the next 10$ for breakfast. Close to the place you get a complete breakfast in a beautiful location for 5$.

Great view and beach but most and foremost the friendly environment. It's a family run business and they really treat you as family going beyond the norm to make your stay comfortable. From calling tuk tuk drivers at the most reasonable prices in Sri Lanka to getting us snorkeling equipment, cooking nice food and advising where to go and what to do, they did it all. I would recommend staying here as I will return for certain. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.

Restaurant is so horrible. So dirty, so no WiFi, so bad waiter. The worse restaurant I’ve been on Sri Lanka. If you want wait for 40-60 minuets without WiFi for you food than go there. More salt in his food is a slogan of this place.

On a self guided cycling trip down the coast of Sri Lanka, Berulwala was the halfway point between Colombo and Galle. As such, the Panorama Guesthouse proved to be the ideal venue for an overnight stay - clean room with a comfortable bed, friendly host and staff, icy cold beer and delicious meals. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

We stayed in the large rooftop-room with nice beach view. The room is super spacious and comes with a large and clean bathroom. The owner family gave us a warm welcome and cooked us a super fresh and delicious dinner. They offer both sri lanka and european breakfast. You can sit on the terrasse next to the room and overlook the sea. I fully recommend staying at this hotel!

Don't ever go there !! We spent more than a month at Sri Lanka and this place was the worst of the worst. All the other 15 hotels we visited were amazing and very sweet and helpful Familys and staff.This family was not like any other family hotels we visited. Do yourself a favor, Do not ever go there !!
