"I’ve stayed in hotels all over the US and the world. The Wave is one of the most impressive places from an aesthetic point of view. It’s less than 1 year old, so everything is clean, works well, and nice (From the pool, to the gym, to the rooms, etc.). Free coffee in the morning and free enhanced water, no breakfast service. The views from the front patio of Lake Erie are astounding and worth the price of the room alone. Tho, the rooms are not cheap, so budget appropriately. 2 suggestions: the counter space in the bathroom is limited and the toilet does not have a cover. The hotel will be paying plumbers a LOT of money when guests accidentally drop things into the toilet. The shower does not have a shelf, so there’s no place to store your own soap / shampoo in the show."

"The property is really nice and very big! If you’re looking for cabins, they have them too. It’s not a five star hotel but it was charming and clean. A little dated decor but nice staff and cute breakfast with a pancake machine."
