A nice, clean and cosy place to stay. Just a short walk to Margaret River Town and you can get just about anything! Steve the owner is extremely friendly and always ready to give advise on nice restaurants and places to visit around the region. Love the no frills and eco friendly way the place is managed. Kudos to Steve and his team;)

We booked a Family Room Room No 1 that come with 1 x king bed and 2 x single bed. Room is spacious, nice and clean. The beds are comfortable. However, we only stayed one night and could enjoy the room and surrounding much.

Could not rate more highly. Lovely place to stay. Great location. Owner was a wealth of knowledge about things to do in the area. Very clean and comfy. Also, Clover the dog made my day!

Wir waren vier Nächte in Margaret River und sind aus Perth mit dem Bus angereist. Der Kontakt mit Steve war sehr freundlich und die Buchung lief reibungslos. Er hat uns bei Ankunft direkt an der Bushaltestelle abgeholt und uns auf diese Weise durch den Ort geführt und uns wichtige Tipps und Informationen gegeben. Er war immer offen für Fragen und hat uns an einen nahegelegenen Strand gefahren und das Taxi für unsere Abholung organisiert. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Betten sind groß und sehr bequem. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und wir würden jederzeit wieder für das Edge of The Forest Motel entscheiden. Steve ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber und hat stets ein Ohr für uns gehabt.

We travelled from Queensland and stayed here for three nights. It was the best place we stayed in for the whole trip. We loved the place. The motel is perfectly located near Margaret River and set in beautiful grounds. The room (we stayed in #3) was a king double and was modern, very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay with parking just near the room. Steve is a lovely bloke who is very knowledgeable about the area and is keen to help. We spent our days touring the area based on his advice and we had a great time. Thanks Steve for a great stay.

Highly recommend staying. Second time we stayed here. Good location, clean, neat and fresh comfortable rooms. Great host, Steve was very helpful and lots of local knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble.

My first stay in Margaret River was a great experience thanks to this motel and Steve. He gave me detailed information about surfing and wineries in Margaret River. There were restaurants nearby so I had no trouble. I would like to stay here again if I come to Margaret River.
