Nie wieder: So einen Gastgeber muß man nicht haben. Zunächst mal: Aussicht zwar schön/auf das Meer, aber steiler Anstieg, für Ältere nicht zumutbar. Bei Unklarheit gab er der Agentur die Schuld an einer Fehlinformation und schrie den Kunden an: Wenn du zu alt oder zu krank bist, um 1 Treppe zu steigen oder den Koffer selber zu tragen, bleib mit dem A.. zuhause. So etwas habe ich in 50 Jahren Reisezeit als Profi noch nicht erlebt. Allein schon die Frühstücks-Situation: 1 Küche mit 10 Plätzen, wo sich jeder sein eigenes Frühstück machen könnte. (Wie lange muß jemand warten, nis er zum Eierbraten an der Reihe ist oder sein Brot tosten kann? Von gemütlichem Frühstück könnte hier keine Rede sein, auch das war ein Grund, das Haus wieder fluchtartig zu verlassen, allerdings unter Schimpfkanonaden des Besitzers.

Ich hatte das große Glück, dieses wunderschöne Haus in Ramsgate, zufällig für ein Wochenende zu entdecken – und es war einfach perfekt! Die Unterkunft liegt erhöht und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer. Das Rauschen der Wellen begleitet einen bis ins Zimmer und sorgt für eine unglaublich entspannte Atmosphäre. Der Garten ist ein absoluter Traum – eine kleine Oase, in der man die Natur genießen kann. Die Räume sind makellos sauber, mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders beeindruckend sind die großzügigen Gemeinschaftsräume, die sich ideal für Gruppen eignen, aber auch für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt in kleiner Runde. Die Lage ist ebenfalls fantastisch: Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend, die absolute Entspannung garantiert. Dennoch ist alles Wichtige schnell erreichbar – in nur 10 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß einen Supermarkt, und in etwa 15 Gehminuten findet man ein tolles Restaurant mit Bar, ideal für einen schönen Abend. Die Besitzer sind wahnsinnig freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und kann diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in Ramsgate verbringen möchte.

De gastheer is erg attent en vriendelijk De kamers hebben allemaal wel iets maar aan tuinzijde kijk je op zwembad en de zee waar je soms wel eens een dolfijn ziet . Balkon met zitje koelkast is v gemeen schappelijk gebruik maar top Restaurant en strand dicht bij 😍😍😍zo ook de winkels.

Outstanding service, the owners made my retreat most enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious, spotless and had crisp bed sheets, excellent sleep quality. Enjoyed the pool and sea view from almost everywhere in the lodge. Delicious, fresh breakfast Convenient location, within walking distance from beach, shops and restaurants An oasis of tranquility to relax away from busy life!

What an outstanding guest house! Beautiful property and room with spectacular seaview; delicious breakfasts on the terrace; quiet and peaceful; with impeccable service and care from the owners Rene and Renata. I highly recommend Wailana - a class above the rest!

It was our first time at this B&B. The Wonder was very friendly at our arrival. He took our suitcases and carried them to our room. He was also very helpful. The location of this B&B is very nice, you have an charming view over The ocean. Why did I only give 3 out of 5? Here is why: - the complet house is smelling very unventilated and damp - The rooms don`t have fridges, you have one in the coffee bar, where everyone could help himself. So it is possible that you put something in the fridge and somebody takes it when he want`s - the coffee bar is poorly equipped and has a character of a hostel and is not very clean - the room we had two different door to the balcony, one with open squares, it is a good idea to cool down the room at night. But the fact that the squares are open, you also can get visitors into the Room you don`t want. The squares should be equipped with flyscreens. - the B&B has some maintenance necessary About the breakfast I can not Write because we had to drive early and did not join the breakfast.

We were welcomed with a smile by the owner carried our bags and ushered us to a very spotless room . Breakfast was the great and hosting was beyond my expectations.

Absolutely amazing experience at Wailana Lodge! The warmest and most welcoming host, Rene, made our stay unforgettable. He is truly one of the nicest people we've ever met in the world. The view from the lodge is simply breathtaking; there's nothing better than enjoying breakfast while gazing at the ocean and watching whales. Rene even provided us with a wonderful binocular to enhance the experience! The coffee was delicious, and the hotel's grounds are delightful, featuring comfortable loungers, a lovely pool, and everything you could possibly need. We would have happily stayed longer if we could! Highly recommend Wai lana Lodge to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

We stayed at Wailana Beach lodge for one night and all I can say is it was outstanding in every respect, the room, bed, breakfast and hosts were excelent.
