First Group Costa Smeralda

Oggi 16.4.2025 siamo sbarcati da Costa Smeralda a Napoli. Il personale è splendido, sempre disponibile, umano e professionale. La nave un vero gioiello,una città tecnologica navigante, la ristorazione ottima a self service ma lo stesso non si PUO' DIRE DEL RISTORANTE "ARLECCHINO" dove ti servono al tavolo. I camerieri svolgono un servizio  eccellente in particolare il Sig. YUVARAJ WAITER ci ha seguito tutte le sere dandoci ottimi consigli sul cibo da scegliere. La stessa cosa non si puo' dire dello CHEF "che e' stellato" per me e mia moglie e' stata una vera delusione. Non lo consiglio,  meglio il self service. Per quanto riguardano le escursioni ci siamo organizzati noi con taxi sia per Marsiglia che per Barcellona e Cagliari. 

Costa Smeralda has always been a special place for my family, and myself. We’ve been visiting for many years. The resort is ideally situated, in the most perfect and calm area. The facilities at the resort are always on point for beachfront self-catering units. When you arrive at the resort and immediately park your car, you know that the holiday is going to begin. The resort gives the best holiday feeling over the rest. Staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Tracy, Alfred, and Gladness. Unfortunately Kathy is no linger at the resort and has retired. The units at Costa Smeralda have unfortunately deteriorated to the point where upgrades are urgently needed, especially in the kitchens and bathrooms. The units are always neat and clean, and we’ve never had any issues with cleanliness. The security gates at the sliding doors also need to be replaced, as well as some of the furnishings in the lounge. The overall units need a big make over and TLC. Also I know it was due to cost saving, but the dishwashers and washing machines used to make it “THE” self catering units. The views at Costa Smeralda are the some of the best, especially in Units 4,5,6 in the front block. Some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Bonus for me at Costa is the nice braai on the balcony- braai with a view. The walks on the promenade in-front of the resort are always great, walking along the seaside, and fishing pier all the way to the main beach and restaurants. Costa Smeralda will always remain a go to holiday destination for us, however I prefer having my holidays in some of the resorts that are a bit more upgraded. Costa you will always remain a GEM!

The reception and service we received from Nomonde was 5 star, she made our stay a pleasant one. very accommodating and always willing to go an extra mile to assist with all the establishment's needs. Not to forget the cleaning crew that ensured our rooms and all utilities remained clean at all times. In a nutshell, they were like family away from home. We will be coming back for sure. An improvement will be to extend the WIFI to the rooms, it will surely be a huge plus factor.

The unit was amazing with awesome views. We enjoyed the facilities. The swimming pool was amazing we really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped it was home away from home

Always love staying here when in Margate. Beautiful sea views. Close to shopping, beaches. Reception staff extremely friendly and always willing to assist. Good Security. Cutlery could do with an upgrade as some of them were broken.
