I frequently travel to the Cedar Rapids/Marion area and have stayed at nearly every Marriott property in the region. This was, without question, the worst experience I have had. The room was generally unclean, but the critical issue was a severe bed bug infestation. We were in the room for only a short time before my family was covered in bites and red welts. We were forced to check out early immediately due to the health risk. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was unavailable when we needed help, and dismissive when we finally made contact. Given the hygiene standards and the poor service, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

We stayed 2 nights for family graduation. Host mom made reservation so we ended up paying far more than we would have had we conducted our own search. The rate was a surprise at checkout because the woman at the desk gave us practically no info at check in. Our room, bed, etc was all perfectly acceptable but, for the absurd price, customer service was a little short. Breakfast wasn't restocked, it was sometimes tough to find somebody at reception, etc.

My 2 night stay was a pleasant experience. The room was stocked with a mini kitchen. The bath w/walk in shower was large in size. There is very minimal noise from outside the room. The room was very clean upon entry. Check-in was quick with a friendly clerk. Hot complimentary offered with many options. There is a pool and gym available. I did not use these amenities, but they they're there. Also saw a room with washers and dryers. The most impressive for me was the price. Much cheaper than other name brand hotels in the area. As a frequent visitor to the area will definitely stay in the future. The neighborhood is safe with many great restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.

Great customer service! Summer was so sweet! Rooms were great! Breakfast was great, Room was spacious with comfortable beds! Will stay again when visiting my son and grandchildren. Love hotels that offer Military discounts!

Nice complimentary cookies in the lobby on arrival and a coffee station which is not at all Towne Suite properties though I think it’s meant to be. Breakfast the most variety we’ve had in a long time at a Marriott property so that was great. Used the pool which was quiet and warm. Room quiet and had no issues. Nice walking trail behind the hotel. Arbys next door.

Perfect stay! The hotel was well situated, clean, and comfortable, with ample parking. Starbucks is next door, and there are a couple of gas stations that are a short walk away. There was little road noise at night - next time I'd request a room at the back of the building. Great overall; I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
