丹尼斯菲爾德別墅酒店&SPA(Danesfield House Hotel and Spa)

One of my favourite places to get away for a short break in a beautiful River Thames setting. I particularly love the spa here. The pool decor is palatial and elegant, with views over the grounds and the cleanliness is of a high standard here. The jacuzzi was out of order on this trip, but the deep floor standing bath and rainfall shower in my room were a bonus. The grounds are magical, with secret nooks to sit awhile and pathways leading to the viewpoint over the Thames. The hotel is elegant, offering a wonderful, warm and friendly service and little 5 star touches that make your stay extra special. This is the kind of hotel where guests are considerate of others and everywhere is peaceful. The only sound you will hear are the geese on the river below and flying by. If you are lucky you may see the red kites which live in the area. My room was quiet, comfortable and offered everything one could need. Colour changing mood lighting was fun. I don't usually sleep well in hotels, but I had one of the deepest sleep. I love staying here and I'm already planning my next visit. I recommend spending some time in the grounds to truly appreciate Danesfield.

Fantastisk opphold på Danesfield House i forbindelse med et nydelig bryllup. Ble godt ivaretatt hele oppholdet av de fantastiske smilende ansatte. Nydelig frokost, god stor seng, vakkert innredet og nydelig arkitektur. Nydelig utsikt og fantastisk flott uteområde. Kaffen var også helt topp. Kommer gjerne her igjen for en romantisk weekend!

Lovely stay for my partners birthdays. The check in process was smooth and welcoming. Our room was lovely and had everything you need. The spa was beautiful and relaxing as were the grounds. Whilst we only ate at the hotel at breakfast the food was exquisite and plenty of choice.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Danesfield House, the room, the gardens, the views, the spa all exceeded our expectations. Staff were efficient and very friendly. Highly recommend - we’ll be back!!

Beautiful location and property, staff were absolutely brilliant and efficient. Fantastic breakfast service. The SPA and services were very good and the amenities available were also good quality.

Receptionist didn’t want us to check in at before 3pm. He suggested we go and get a cocktail in the bar whilst we waited for the room. His colleague confirmed room ready two mins later when my wife asked again. Asked receptionist how to turn heating down on entering stifling hot room. After he couldn’t make it come down any further he suggested we opened the windows. We did and the handle fell on in our hands. On 3rd floor, lift not working. No coffee or tea in room. Receptionist brought straight away. Told house wine in the bar by a very pleasant colleague was a Rioja at £44 to find out later it was actually a Tempranillo at £29. Already enjoyed the bottle. Room was spectacular on arrival except for heat, we had to leave windows open ajar overnight. The smoke detector on the ceiling over the bed decided to flash white for a period overnight. The window blind fell off around 3am which I put back up the best I could. Not the best nights sleep. Service at breakfast was disappoint andnot a pleasurable experience. The full English cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious with fresh quality ingredients. However we asked for more toast to go with the breakfast but it didn’t arrive after 10 mins so we reordered. You could see that after a certain time it was all about clearing not serving which was a shame. Made the Reception Manager aware following morning of all the issues before breakfast. The spa was very relaxing with very friendly colleagues. Totally different experience.

Stayed many times. Always friendly staff and great service and excellent facilities and will be coming back soon.
