沙塔拉巴公寓(Sandcastles Mooloolaba)

We came for a short 5 night stay at Mooloolaba and chose Sandcastles on recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint. We stayed in Room 201 which was well furnished, self contained, clean and was more than comfortable for our stay. Teagan, Joel and Maddy were fabulous hosts. They greeted us with smiles and we not only shared some humour but they also offered to loan us the coveted blue beach chair! They also gave us some great dining recommendations. Great place in a great location. Our unit had everything you need for a week away. Not a huge block so more personal. Staff were friendly and everything was clean and tidy. Easy walk to everything with plenty of food places within 5 mins walk. If staying in Mooloolaba this would be a great choice.

Accommodation was average. The deluxe rating and comparison to the images provided aren't equal. Upon arrival a notice in the lift advised us that repairs to the building were occuring and there would be noise disruptions

Right next door to the Surf Club and my birthday party venue. Very quiet, and clean. The bed was comfortable. Thank you.

Great location, not overly huge so easy to get around the complex

Really nice low level complex,Had all the amenities we wanted and kitchen had all we required to cook and make meals.Nice big balcony with relaxing outdoor furniture.Joel/Tegan and Maddie are great hosts and are able to give that personal touch being a smaller complex.TV in bedroom,Foxtel available.Nice large fridge a plus.We had a unit facing Swankee the go to coffee shop.Pool is not massive but adequate,lovely spa pool.Inside furniture gave a beach feel.Bed comfy.Located at the Surf club end of Esplanade.Supermarket/Resturants and Bottle store all in easy walking distance.

A great central location in Mooloolaba - easy walking to shops, restaurants & beach. Apartment, whilst outdated, was clean, tidy & well maintained, with everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was that we felt it was a little overpriced for what it offered (even being ‘peak’ season).

We had booked for eight nights and were really disappointed on arrival. For the price and the Trip Advisor rating, it simply did not measure up. Our unit appeared to have been recently renovated but it was a really cheap job. The light switches were not secure, the toilet roll holder leaned downwards, the wardrobe doors very thin and the bed gave me my first ever back ache on waking. It turns out that Sandcastles, although well located, is at the ‘poor end’ of the beach front ***** and the area is unusually dark at night. My partner and I were shocked when we first walked into our allocated apartment (305) and felt no better the following morning. I went in search of alternative accomodation, which was difficult to find. Eventually found something, which was three bedrooms instead of one, and cost 2.5 times more than Sandcastles. It was worth every cent. Sandcastles is not serviced daily, the alternative one is. The lounge room/dining area is four times the size and we have a beachfront view. To be fair to Sandcastles, I did not say anything, except we were leaving early. They graciously only charged us for two nights accomodation and refunded the six nights. I was very grateful. The receptionist was lovely and the standard of accomodation was not her fault, so no point in carrying on to her. Sandcastles is a three star resort at best, and certainly not 4.5.

Amazing self contained apartments in the best location in Mooloolaba, 5min walk from everything and with beach views! We will be back soon and will be bringing my family to stay right next to us! Thanks Tegen and Joel for being so accomodating to our needs!
