Die Hacienda ist wirklich das Tor zum Himmel ❤️ es ist ein wundervoll friedlicher und ruhiger Ort inmitten grandioser Natur! Alle sind freundlich und aufmerksam und meine Ausflüge mit Francisco haben so viel Spaß gemacht und mir viele neue Seiten diesen tollen Landes und seiner Bewohner gezeigt. Wer nach Nicaragua kommt muss einfach hier vorbei kommen.

Excelente experiencia, una paz increible, muy buena atencion, instalaciones, piscina, spa (masajes), y el restaurant. Recomendado 100% Cerca de Managua, viaje relativamrente corto, hay que llegar a masatepe antes y desde alli la carretera esta nitida.

Lindo lugar, buena comida y buena atención. Una vista espectacular. Es un lugar lindo para pasar en familia, tiene lo privado que buscas para alejarte de la ciudad, conectar con tus seres queridos y crear lindas memorias. Definitivamente un lugar para volver.

Mes amis et moi sommes arrivés dans la ville de Masaya à la recherche d'un établissement ayant une vue sur le parc national du Volcan Masaya. Après avoir vu quelques photos de l'hôtel, nous avons décidé de quitter la ville de Masaya où nous devions résider et d'y aller sans réservation. Les taxis ne connaissaient pas l'endroit mais avec le GPS un d'eux a accepté de nous y transporter. TOUTEFOIS, ce n'était pas la bonne route, car il faut passer par Masateppe dans le coin de Nindri pour se rendre à la bonne route dans la jungle! Après quelques kilomètres dans des passages presque impraticables pour un petit taxi, le chauffeur nous avise qu'il lui est impossible de continuer et avec raisons. Nous avons fait les quelques kilomètres restant avec nos sac à dos de voyages sur un chemin accidenté! Nous sommes arrivés un peu fatigués sur de très belles grandes portes en acier activables à distance. Elles étaient fermées et nous pensions que nous étions en plein milieu de la forêt tropicale à devoir trouvé un plan B. Il y avait un numéro de téléphone sur le grand portique, le propriétaire a répondu de la Floride et fut extrêmement gentil de nous faire accueillir par ses EMPLOYÉS INCROYABLES. Francisco est aux petits soins pour que nous ne manquions de rien, surtout de Toña (bière locale). Rendu en haut, au site de l'hôtel la vue sur le parc national et le volcan était tout simplement époustouflante. Nous savions que nous allions réserver ici à cet instant. Malgré le fait que c'est éloigné dans la forêt, ça en vaut vraiment la peine! c'est à environs une trentaine de minutes de Masaya et Fransisco s'occupe du transport, est un très bon guide pour le volcan aussi! En plus d'être très sympathiques, les employés, cuisine très bien, c'était délicieux. Très propre, bonne odeur! Site exceptionnel! Spa, piscine et Wi-Fi très fonctionnels! Je recommande et j'y retournerai avec plus d'amis dans les prochaines années! Xavier

It is simply a magical place! The view on the Masaya volcanoe and laguna is stunning! The pool and the entire hacienda are well built with detailed touches. It was a pleasure being in that pool surrounded by tranquility and nature. The staff was very accommodating and nice. A beautiful experience which I would love to relive anytime ! Muchas gracias !

The views from the hotel are incredible. Food was tasty and affordably priced. The kitchen stay open until 8 and the bar until 10.Clean rooms and cold air conditioning. Beautiful pool and the hotel had many seating area to lounge in while taking in the view of the lake and the volcano. You will enjoy your stay

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment of arrival it was heartwarming and the view in the morning is the best. The staff members make sure we were okay at all time. We will definitely revisit soon.

What an amazing place! Beautiful location with a direct view of the volcano and the lake. Wonderful staff, delicious food, comfortable rooms, and all set in the luscious jungle surrounded by birds and wildlife. Don Juan Carlos went out of his way to accommodate my family with many special requests that we are quite grateful for. The property is large, very safe and secure, and at the same time within only 1 hour of Managua to the north and colonial Granada and the islands to the south. We really loved it and would absolutely go back.

If you want peace and relaxation, along with stunning views of the Laguna and the volcanoes, I would highly recommend J.C.’s establishment in Masatepe. The service was impeccable, the rooms were clean, and the surrounding area was wonderful to view, whether you were on the veranda or in the pool. I would highly recommend staying here several nights for anyone interested in coming to beautiful Nicaragua.

My wife and I have been searching for a cigar tour for the past year to celebrate my 60 year birthday. Nicaragua was the country, since my favorite cigars have plantations in the Esteli region (A.J Fernandez, My Father, Olivia, and many others). After a long search, I learned that cigar plantations don’t have regular tours and tourist need a contact person to help make reservations. I was very pleased to locate “Hacienda Puerta Del Cielo Eco Lodge & Spa” and the owner JC. JC was so accommodating and kept in constant communication via WhatsApp throughout the entire process. JC provided transportation for all our activities including making all the arrangements to a cigar tour in Esteli (FYI, it’s about a 3.5 hour drive each way due to traffic and 40 MPH speed limit. My suggestion is to not rent a car and take on that responsibility in the event of an accident! We stayed at the resort for 7-days and are activities included: Cigar Tours ( Esteli, and a small shop in Granada where we actually took a class to make your own cigar), visit local artisan markets, rum tastings, small traditional clay pottery tour (Must see but more importantly to buy several pieces of art at great prices), boat tour of the very small islands with mansions & spider monkeys, and the active volcano. ***The Resort and Spa*** As a person who travels the world and stayed in many accommodations, I enjoy Unique Boutique Hotels. I definitely DoNot like All Inclusive Chain Resorts or Big City Hotels. Having said this, JC Resort & Spa was a 5 Star for its private Jungle Location, relaxing atmosphere, personal attention by the on-site staff, the scenery including the Active Volcano Masaya which erupted recently and still see the smoke plumes. ***Travelers please be aware this is a 3rd World Country and JC’s Resort is an Eco Lodge. You will see how the locals daily lives and their small communities. We never felt unsafe and the Accommodation were to our satisfaction. Thanks to JC and his staff for a unique experience.
