託爾公路汽車旅館(Tower Road Motel)

The room was clean and bed comfortable. Although we were in a unit close to the road we sleep well. It was nice to have a couple of chairs and small table to sit outside and read my book, particulary after a day of travelling. The basin is in part of the kitchen on the opposite side to the sink and cabinets. I'd be happy to stay there again.

Comfortable, clean motel with everything you need. Helpful owners who went out of their way to help on both occasions I needed it. I will be visiting the area regularly for the next 5 months on business and this is now my 'motel of choice' for Matamata.

Motel easy to find. Check-in was fast. The owner is kind and helpful with suggestions asked. The room was comfortable, had everything you need - coffee, microwave, fridge, towels... Would stay again

Very clean, comfortable Studio unit. Kevin and Tracey were extremely helpful and hospitable. Shower good power and lovely and warm. Towels changed daily which does not always happen nowadays. Motel is surrounded by fields so nice and quiet. There are just seven units so minimal traffic noise from other guests. The Tower Road cycle/walkway is right outside the entrance and you can walk for 80 kms if you wish. Walk to the Firth Tower Museum in 15 minutes and enjoy it. Definitely recommended.

The Tower Road Motel met my standards of cleanliness, neatness and quiet. Friendly staff. They reacted quickly when needed. Good location too - easy access to Firth Tower, Hobbiton and Matamata town centre.

Very nice hotel, affordable and close to town where you board for Hobbiton. The couple that runs this place, Kevin and Tracy are very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here when you pass through.

Had a very comfortable visit. The hosts were great, I had a warm welcome and was able to sleep very well and enjoyed long walks along the walking/cycling trail along Tower Road. It's easy to walk into town and a great location for bicyclists. Next time I'm in Matamata to visit old friends, I'd be delighted to stay here again.

I stayed in a studio unit which was really spacious and nicely laid out. Shower was great, hot and strong! Everything was in good repair and clean and tidy. Nice little seating area outside unit. Outskirts of town but easy walk, cycle or drive to the centre
