美蕊沙香料之家酒店(The Spice House Mirissa)

Das Spice House ist ein gut gelegenes, familiär geführtes kleines Boutique Hotel. Wir waren dort mehrere Nächte zu Gast. Hervorzuheben ist ganz klar der Pool und die gesamte sehr grüne Anlage. Wir waren in der ersten Etage des Nebenhauses untergebracht. Das Zimmer war sauber und bestand eigentlich aus 2 Räumen plus einer Außendusche. Hinzu kam ein großer Balkon mit mehreren Sitz-Gelegenheiten. Von hier aus konnten wir viele Tiere (Streifenhörnchen, Affen, Mungos, Echsen usw.) und Vögel in allen Farben bewundern. Das ganze hatte Dschungel Feeling. Platz hatten wir insgesamt wirklich genug. Die Räume hatten Ventilatoren und das Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage. Leider war diese völlig unterdimensioniert und zusammen mit den Ventilator einfach zu laut. Mit der doch sehr harten Matratze konnten wir uns ebenfalls nicht anfreunden. Das zusammen hat uns einen nicht besonders angenehmen Schlaf gebracht. Leider gab es kein Wasser seitens des Hotels auf dem Zimmer, sodass wir mit dem TukTuk mehrfach bei Einkaufen. Wer duschen möchte, muss sich auf fehlenden Wasserdruck einstellen. Für meine Frau mit langen Haaren sehr ungünstig, ich hatte keine Probleme. Übrigens, einen Föhn gibt es auf dem Zimmer nicht. Das Frühstück wird mit anderen Gästen zusammen (teils lange Tische) auf der Terrasse des Hauptgebäudes eingenommen. Es war leider sehr westlich (Obst, Ei, Konfitüre und Toast) mit einer kleinen Probe der heimatlichen Küche. Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich gut, es sind nur wenige Minuten bis zum Strand (Turtle Beach) oder zum Instagram Hotspot Coconut Tree Hill. Von einem kleinen familiär geführten Hotel hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet und ich meine keinen Luxus.

Guest house carina ma non come mi aspettavo in base alle recensioni lette. Scrivo alcune informazioni che se le avessi sapute prima mi avrebbero fatto desistere dal prenotare qui. La Wi-Fi è lenta e prende in pochi posti della struttura. Non accettano la carta di credito ma bisogna pagare in contanti. La pulizia della camera ha lasciato a desiderare. La colazione è solo accettabile. Le finestre delle camere non hanno le tende oscuranti e alla mattina entra luce piena. In conclusione la struttura non vale assolutamente gli 80 euro che abbiamo pagato a notte. A questa cifra si trova di meglio. Se doveste trovarla a 40 euro potrebbe essere da valutare ma non certo al costo che abbiamo pagato noi.

The Spice House is actually a house run by its owner Mrs. Vatsala and her husband. Its located on the main street of Mirissa that runs parallel to the beach. Its placed behind a few properties that face the main road and cannot be viewed directly as one walks by. But once you enter the space, you are transported into a beautiful tropical paradise. It has a beautiful pool in its backyard. There are a few rooms in the main house and a few in the garden. Clean and well maintained. Our host took care of our food preferences well. Enjoyed our stay in The Spice House.

As a family of 7 adults we had 3 rooms in the Villa and felt like it was a palace. Huge rooms, comfortable beds and an infinity pool , it was something you see in the movies. We had 4 amazing breakfast menus at the main house, each day was something a little different but always delicious. Ruwan was a wonderful "stand in host" and with all the other staff looked after us so well. Cannot speak highly enough of our stay at The Spice House.

我在 Spice House 度過了愉快的 6 個晚上。 Phil 和 Wathsala 是非常可愛、悠閒的主人，感覺就像住在某人的家里而不是酒店 :-) 我喜歡在陽台上欣賞叢林美景，然後享用美味的早餐和游泳來開始新的一天在距離酒店只有幾分鐘步行路程的海洋中。前面有大量的人力車，可以帶您沿著海灘前往各種餐廳。強烈推薦 ：-）

Beautiful, tranquil location: a jungle oasis just a stone's throw from the beach. Wathsala, Phil, and the friendly crew pull out all the stops - and breakfast is to die for. And Phil, what a joy to see one of the games of the season with a fellow Gooner! I notice there's no ****nal memorabilia in reception, so look out for a little Amazon delivery to add to the decor...

Wir waren in der Off season hier. Das Haus ist im Kolonialstil eingerichtet. Sehr verspielt, in jeder Ecke und in jedem Winkel ist etwas zu finden. Der Besitzer ist Engländer und seine Frau kommt aus Sri Lanka. Beide sind sehr freundlich und liebenswert. Das Frühstück wird mit Blick auf den Pool serviert. Vom Pool aus kann man Streifenhörnchen und Affen beobachten. Es ist sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig abgelegen. Mit dem Tuk Tuk sind es keine 5 Minuten bis zum Dreambeach. Der Turtle Beach liegt direkt 100 m vom Hotel entfernt. Unsere Zimmer, hiessen Cinemon und Tamarinde. Cinemon war riesig., Es lohnt sich sogar die Zeit hier im Hotel zu verbringen. Das Zimmer war mit Balkon und außenmöbel ausgestattet. Eine absolute Weiterempfehlung. Wir sind froh, in diesem Hotel übernachtet zu haben. Gleichzeitig unterstützen die beiden ein soziales Projekt. Sie sammeln Geld und Kleidung für arme Menschen hier im Land. Falls ihr die Besitzerin glücklich machen wollt, bringt ihr eine leckere Schokolade aus Europa mit :)

Séjour très agréable à spicy house. Personnel très attentionné, petit déjeuner vraiment très bon et varié. Le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques et la suite vanille très confortable. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir les plages et points d'intérêts de Mirissa. Je recommande vivement cet établissement

Superb accommodation in Mirissa, Sri Lanka. Friendly staff & owners (Phil + Watsala) always ready to help or give you advice. Fabulous garden with pool. Quiet location though only 2 min from the nearest beach or 5 min to a fantastic Instagram spot the Coconut Hill. Our second time here and definitely our choice next time too!
