Use the card to rent for two nights $139.38 then took a $50 deposit . The next day charged $189.39 again and minus my debit -$7.14 still have a pending transaction of $50 and one cent which they should not have even ran the card again for $189.39. This is a crooked hotel and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone

We drove all the way from Wisconsin to Houston, Texas. We decided to book a room here for a quick pit stop. We booked through *******. Upon arrival, manager (Robert is supposedly his name) said we had no reservation. After looking at our email- it did say that the reservation “failed”. So we decided to just book directly with him as it was late at night & we were exhausted. We get into our room & it was disgusting. Holes in the walls of the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen stuffed with toilet paper. Dirt all over the floors. Bed linens were a joke! I felt very unsafe as well. Windows don’t lock making it very easy for someone to break in. As this was a quick pit stop, we just ****** it up. However, this is when things continued to go downhill. At 11pm, we were all awakened by the hotel phone ringing. It was the manager telling us that the ******* booking went through. We asked him to cancel & he never did. So we paid DOUBLE the amount for the same room. After talking with *******, they told us to take it up with the hotel & the hotel told us vice versa. In addition, they charged us not ONCE but TWICE for the $50 deposit. All in all, we spent well over $200 for our stay & it was terrible. Either keep driving or find another hotel. This family loves to take innocent travelers money & lacks serious accountability.

“Honesty is free” so why don’t YOU BE HONEST? Won’t even let us speak to Volly- the MANAGER because YOU KNOW YOU ARE LYING. I hope your business gets exactly what it deserves. Stealing from guests won’t help business. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Definitely check your money when staying here. We booked for one night and they DID NOT say anything about a deposit having to be put down. For 2 adults, 2 kids. We paid $75 for the hotel room and then got charged an additional $50. They said the $50 would be given back but instead CHARGED another $50 from our account. A day after leaving they decided to CHARGE ANOTHER $50 from our account and add $5 to our room total charging $80 for the room. They charged the “deposit” THREE TIMES. So in total took OVER $200 from us. ABSOLUTE JOKE. DO NOT recommend staying here. Very unprofessional.

Booked the room for 2 nights and we booked and payed online. When we arrived they asked me for my credit card, I thought they needed it for verification, he processed it and said it was a $55 room deposit. I looked puzzled he stated I would get it back as soon as I checked out. First night refrigerator was not working was hot and smelled horrible, AC wasn’t working and the toilet was filthy, stains on the sheets. I called the front desk they said they were booked but would be able to move us the next day. I inquired about a refund and they said it wasn’t possible. We were on the first floor and the ceiling was paper thin, it sounded like a herd of cattle above us all night, barely got any sleep. Went to the front desk the next morning and the same guy that checked us in seemed unhappy that we wanted to move, and tried to move us to another bottom floor room, I had to be blunt with him and stated we would not be comfortable staying below anyone another night. He finally moved us to an upstairs room and it was more pleasant. When we went to checkout I asked him about the deposit and if he needed the card to reimburse me, he said no as soon as the housekeeping gave him the all clear he would refund the deposit. 48 hours later still no refund and no pending transactions, I was driving back through and decided to stop in. He was very surprised to see me and I inquired once again about my deposit, he punched some buttons on the computer, and said hold on I’ll try and print out a receipt. A few minutes later he showed me a receipt showing I was being reimbursed $50, I responded you withdrew $55 he said we have a $5 pet fee, I stated we didn’t have any pets, he stated well you booked online and there is a $5 online booking fee. I just shook my head and walked out with my receipt, BEWARE Im not sure I would have gotten anything back if I didn’t stop back in.

I’ve used this hotel for several years and always enjoyed my stay there. I went there last week after not traveling for two years. We got a room fir one night and there were a couple of things to note. The bathroom was tiny. I mean the toilet paper in your left arm pit tiny. The mop board was coming off of the wall and the smoke detector was gone. The floor covering was warped and snapped when we walked on it. The breakfast was dismal. Warm scrambled eggs and biscuits. There was a waffle maker but it ran out of batter when my wife made hers. In the past the rooms were well maintained and the breakfast was outstanding. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and all hot and fresh. Coved is over and they need to step up their game.
