We were on a short trip over to attend a funeral nearby. So the Hotel was ideally situated for us. Cleanliness in the hotel was very good. Customer service & friendlyness from every member of staff we encountered. Only downside was the room was quite dated (stain on ceiling from previous leak was obvious), but didnt interfere with our stay. 3am both nights we were awoke by noisy drunken guest shouting in the corridor. Not the hotel's fault but spoiled a good nights sleep unfortunately both the nights we stayed. (Sunday and Monday), however would stay again in the future. If it wasnt for that I would have given 5 stars on everything.

I don't usually write reviews but I felt the need to personally come on here and make a review on our fabulous stay in this wonderful hotel. Myself and my partner booked for the 13th July to the 14th one night some food drinks and to relax with friends. But I have to thank the first member of staff I met who just made my check in so incredibly easy and so professional and a wonderful smile Dean from the reception I checked in around half 5 /6 can't be 100% sure but he made the process so easy and set my fabulous evening in motion 😀he is a fantastic assett to the hotel along with Mo himself who also played a hand in asking our evening enjoyable with his charming and humorous personality I can't wait to book again thank you so much 💗

We spent a few nights in the Hamlet booking was simple and had a very nice room overlooking the entrance. All the staff were very friendly but our server Sophie pulled out all the stops to make sure we had a great meal, compliments to the chefs this level of home cooking is hard to beat. Breakfast the next morning again was excellent server Brian , courteous and genuine. The food is so good here Sophie persuaded us to the bacon and cabbage the next night. You won’t go hungry at the “Hamlet” … Stephen served our next breakfast again a culinary master piece well served even though I went ‘Off piste’…..well done guys you run a great ship. And Ellie said a good ‘ Bon Voyage ‘ to us . So till the next time thank you.

We went with a coach party of 35 people. We received a very warm welcome and were pleased with our room. The evening meal was plentiful and delicious. The staff was entertaining, efficient, and helpful. We were sorry to leave after only one night and an equally generous, beautifully presented breakfast buffet.

We had been here for a family reunion twenty years ago. Our return to the area included meeting old friends. The Hamlet Court offers a great senior midweek stay package, beef breakfast and a scrumptious afternoon tea.

We visited recently for dinner and despite the fact that I had booked a table for 10 - when the first three of us arrived, we were shown to a table for five. I explained I had booked a table for 10 - to which the response was “well we’ll see how many turn up”. When the rest of the party arrived, we pushed an adjoining table to our table of five so we could all sit together - no thanks to the staff in the restaurant.

Stayed in the hamlet court hotel Enfield the 28th December 2023. It was beyond bad we booked a suite which was absolutely terrible and another room for our daughter. Both rooms were freezing fridge was filthy in our room. The soap was nearly empty and beyond shabby. It was so cold unbearable had to sleep with dressing gown. Our lunch in the bar was beyond bad they got my daughters wrong forgot ours gave no plates had to wait for milk and ask for cutlery. The staff did not care at all and the places was not busy. My husband informed a staff member of our rooms who said they would get manager to speak to us which he didn't as to busy . I informed I was writing this review but I was not contacted only told they were to busy to speak to me. I would avoid at all cost this hotel my son stayed in the Johnstown Hotel pay the extra and stay there . I cant even give one star as the place is beyond shabby and staff don't care from management down the manager was informed but did not care .

Booked this hotel last minute through ***********. We are a family of 4. Our children are aged 18 & 16. The website said there wasn’t any family rooms available, the only ones were double rooms. So we had to book two rooms which one wasn’t a problem. However, when we checked in (which by the way took longer than usual for some unknown reason). We we found that the 1st room had a double & single bed and the 2nd room had 2 double beds. So basically enough room for seven people! I then went to enquire if we could cancel one of the rooms and a surly young girl said no, which again I can understand that it’s probably not something she could do. BUT her attitude was disgraceful. She basically grunted that if I wanted 4 people in the room I should have called to book and not booked online?!? Then, to make matters worse, throughout this conversation I got the constant eye rolls. Please give your staff a bit of customer service training. The hotel seemed rather empty and this may the reason you are pushed to book 2 rooms through *********** Now onto the hotel … I’m sure it may have been nice back in the day, but definitely in need of some TLC. The rooms had the vilest smell, like rotting fish. Bedding was clean but that’s about it. Staff we met whilst cleaning the rooms were very nice and polite.

My wife and I thought the experience here was excellent. The hotel has a large, well lit car park free for patrons. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, Murty was a great bartender and local guide. The room was clean and well decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large and clean.

From the moment we arrived we were treated by very efficient service and staff, from the waitress to reception nothing was to much trouble.the food was fabulous and very reasonable prices

A very pleasant stay, nice hotel and a fairly short drive from Dublin City Centre (45 - 60 mins drive) away.

I love this place I try to stay here when I am over on business from the UK, it's usually very booked up. The hospitality here is second to none - amazing, friendly people who love what they do and it shows. Nothing is too much trouble and you are made to feelo so welcome. The bed and pillows are so comfy, the rooms are spotless and it's very peaceful here. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for another lovely stay - I will be back soon.

We had our wedding this year in the Hamlet and it was honestly the best experience. There are no words to describe the team involved especially Anne who dealt with us from the beginning. We were helped the whole way through planning which made the experience so much easier. A very friendly environment and always brilliant food. All of our guest did not have one complaint and absolutely loved the food. Thanks Anne, Sharon, Mo, John and the whole team.

Recently got married here, the Hamlet Court is a lovely hotel, always felt so cosy, food is excellent, and staff were so friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here and if you're looking for a wedding venue, you couldn't get much better.
