Fantástico hotel, céntrico y fácil acceso… el único PERO es que el espacio wellness no lo pudimos utilizar porque estaba full reservado, podrían darle prioridad a los huéspedes del hotel, por lo demás todo bien

Was surprised at the poor maintenance and unresponsiveness of staff. The worst out of Van Der Valk chain: - the terrace was messy and unclean, there were old socks and slippers lying around while staff was serving drinks; - bed was uncomfortable, the mattress was old and too soft, so 2 people end up continuously sliding to the center... - do not recommend to order upgrades: ordered 2, received one, told the reception, they promised to refund the unfulfilled request - never happened. Conclusion: unexpected disappointment.

Stayed at this comfy and quiet hotel for 3 nights. Room was clean and neat with minimalistic interior. Breakfast was fairly good.Reception crew were extremely friendly. I would like to highlight Lady Lieve (sorry if wrong spelling) who were professional, abd attentive.Liked the fact how well she knows the touristic parts and could guide as anytime we asked. During our stay she was our walking wikipedia😊. As an IHG member I’ve been pampered and enjoyed discounted Belgium beers on eves at the lobby.

NH Mechelen has a good location and friendly staff. Beds are decent and breakfast is OK. BUT: (1) While certain parts of the hotel (e.g. reception and breakfast room) are somewhat renovated, other require urgent renovation and are far below the NH Hotels standard I'm used to (please refer to the pictures of room 506 attached), (2) A pungent sewage smell is present throughout the hotel, (3) The parking is limted to cars ＜ 165 cm (so SUV's cannot use it), (4) The airco is very, very old, makes a huge noise and does not work adequately, (5) And all this for 186 €/ night (breakfast included), which is far too expensive for the poor quality offered. See pictures attached: (1) Curtains which could not be closed (30- 40 cm), (2) Curtains with a lot of holes, (3) Dead insects on the the window, curtain and at the coffee machine, (4) and (5) Furniture with all over scratches, (6) A new door lock was installed but the remains of the previous system were not removed.

The whole ethos of the hotel is really miserable. The pool, one of the main draws for us, was freezing. You have to bring your towel from the room, which means that after a swim you only have hand towels to wash. The biggest issue we had was with the booking and the unhelpfulness of the staff. We had amended our dates a couple of times and unknown to me, I had a second booking that I hadn’t cancelled. So I was checking out on the 26th Dec when I was supposed to be checking in on the second booking. Nobody told me about it until two days later when I was slapped with over €600 no show fee for the full booking and they would not budge on it. We also had to argue at check out for over €150 euro of drinks that had been paid four by card and the money checked and gone from the account, but they still wouldn’t believe us. Ultimately it was their mistake but it took a lot of arguments! Check your bill!!!

非常棒的住宿,這家位於完美的精品酒店。我和我丈夫和兩個男孩一起住在這裏,所以我們得到了超寬敞的頂層套房。它有一個獨立的客廳,主臥室裏面有一個浴室,獨立浴室在房間裏,甚至廁所都能看到,但是有磨砂玻璃,你和客廳分開。客廳在入口旁邊有個小廁所。裏面很乾淨,喜歡小廚房區LED燈、冰箱和一些自選餐飲選擇。還有一個小屋頂露台,在我們選擇參觀的陽光週末感覺古色古香。我當時在比利時附近參加一個聚會,否則我可能找不到這個迷人的小鎮,它的歷史悠久,而且在酒店門口可以方便地購物(時尚的市場攤位)。位置唯一的缺點是出租車/出租車等級和Ubers更少。酒店提供電話號碼,有時效果很好,但如果打算深夜外出,肯定會得到更多選擇。附近有很多可愛而酷的餐廳。我的孩子們喜歡它。您可以通過WhatsApp聯繫業主,因爲沒有人基於接收,但一切都無縫地工作。他們提前與我們進行了很好的聯繫,他們非常樂於幫助我們多住一晚。會推薦在這裏住宿。
