For a new build there's lots wrong here. The building is noisy, as is the area . The building is still under construction and there's only one elevator for 12 floors. There's usually a long wait for elevators. Hot water was hit and miss, 3 showers two cold.
Checking in I was asked to pay for insurance, in 6 year's with hundreds of hotel's this is the second time I was asked to pay insurance to stay. They said it wasn't much, my answer is why charge?, Make it part of the visual charges. The room was smallish and although new there's signs of wear and tear. Everything is concrete for the most part. The bed and sheets were nice. Many street noises and interior noises between the floors. An annoying ceiling safety light which strobed with flashes. The entry has a steep slope to enter and wasn't meant for seniors, it's a safety hazard. Add in construction materials left at the base one day which I didn't see and nearly tripped over. A lawsuit waiting to happen in many countries. The breakfast has improved with more choices but the open air restaurant is so loud you can barely hear others speaking. There's also road construction beside the restaurant.
This was my second and last try here, this hotel needs better front desk staff. The first time here I was going to extend my stay and they couldn't coordinate a move that didn't require me to move out entirely and wait for a new check-in time, so low budget an experience.
