We booked a 2 bedroom suite on AirBNB and when we arrived at the hotel we were told it was fully booked. After making numerous calls the man at the desk tried to move us to a single room with one double bed. After waiting for half an hour we left for lunch and asked him to refund the AirBNB booking while we ate. When we returned he still hadn’t issued our refund and continued to waste more of our time.

I am very particular when it comes to hygiene, and I must say, Veler was on point! The hotel is small, but was exactly what I needed, right in the midst of Poblado. Those concerned with noise, there is a bar (Not a nightclub, so you're fine) next door downstairs but the noise to my to my room was faint, and died down completely by 11ish on Fri/Sat nights while I was there. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but had the items you'd want in a breakfast (Eggs of your choice with ham and cheese, toast, arepas, fruits, tea/coffee, and juice). And I must say, the staff were one of the friendliest I have seen anywhere, and I've travelled a lot. Thank you Veler team. Will be staying here when I return to Medellin, what a city!
