This “hotel” did not match with me. Not a four star hotel. Location is fine and it’s a nice old building but that is what they lean on. The service and amenities are poor, breakfast very standard and really limited attention to detail for guests. Expect a 3* guesthouse with friendly staff.

Staff was argumentative and rude after hotel had sent us an airport pick up confirmation including cost and front desk claimed their eMail was wrong, we owed more. The young man was downright nasty and thereafter passive aggressive with poor attitude. Very disappointing "welcome"

Personnel extrêmement cordial et très serviable. Le lieu est très proche du cœur de la cité, les différents souks sont très proche. D'ici tout peut être fait à pied. Après quelques remarques, la chambre était bien mais la porte ne ferme pas très bien. Salle de bain mérite un sérieux rafraîchissement surtout pour baignoire lavabo et wc. Décoration traditionnelle très jolie. Le ménage et le lit sont faits tous les jours. Malheureusement il n'y a pas de parking pour un véhicule. Si on a de la chance on peut se garer sur la petite place car des maisons sont condamnées sinon cet parking payant à 5 mn. Un autre point et pas des moindres la conduite dans la médina..... c'est du sport, ça donne des sueurs froides et de grands moments de solitude...... A méditer avant de réserver.

Literie fantastique, situation idéale dans la médina. Ce palais est un havre de paix à la décoration soignée et l’accueil chaleureux.

In April I was in this hotel with a friend, whose name is Chiara. This latter paid, by a mistake of the staff, the due amount twice. Since April Chiara has send unsuccessfully several emails and messages; she has also contaqcted them by phone, receving from the staff a promise of taking care of the case. It was agreed that the amount would be transferred to my friend's bank account in Italy. Unfortunatelly, this has never happended and the hotel staff every time has found many silly excuses. They even requested, surprisingly, a letter from my friend's bank a statement of acceptance of this amount. Chiara sent them a letter of the Italian bank confirming tha the account is genuine and tha twas more than enough. Probably they hope that mwe will give up and they can keep Chiara's money! As everybody can understand, this is truly a dishonest and unacceptable behaviour; just for few hundreds euro we now have to involve a lawyer in order to get the money back! We want everybody to know this story and avoid booking this hotel for their stay in Tunis.
