The hotel is in central point of Shillong. Good experience with Stay as in executive rooms. Stay in back side of the rooms so you can avoid the busy street views. Food was okay, very limited options. If you have vehicle, no parking is available at proper way.

I had a pleasant 4 nights stay and the room was clean and the staff was helpful and cooperative. Breakfast was good too with varieties and enjoyed my stay. I would like to Thank team of Gateway for making my stay so wonderful and pleasant. Yogesh

Trusting the photos from the website and booking our stay here was the biggest mistake. All the pictures are atleast 10 years old. The reception itself has grimy wallpaper and dirty couches. The banister on the stairs moves even if you touch it. The rooms are again really outdated and in need of several repairs. Food is terrible. The only thing good about the hotel is the location and that too if you want to stay in a busy noisy city centre. The staff are all extremely promt, polite and fast. I think I saw a rat in my room but I can't be sure. The tariff is too high for such abysmal conditions.

shabby room. poor equipments interiors, poor service, and staff communication also is poor. no good quality food offered. my husband had to change hotel to nearby centre point. Makemytrip information and photos were illusion.

Had a wonderful stay. Clean large room with comfortable bed. Less than 5 minutes walk from Police Bazaar. Courteous staff and prompt service. Reception and Dining room is very small. Had to wait for half an hour for breakfast as the tables were taken by a travel group. Breakfast buffet was good except for south Indian dishes. TV remote was barely functioning.

We were there on Christmas. Rooms were spacious. Service was not good. Restuarant was untidy. Utensils with leftover food of dinner was found on dinning table when we went for breakfast. Breakfast was to be served at 7.30 am but was served after 8.00 am due to which we were delayed. Location is however the hotels asset being very close to police bazaar.
