考伯史密斯酒店(Coppersmith Hotel)

Unfortunately our bathroom became flooded due to the heavy rain. We were out for the night so only realised once we returned to the room. We called the out of hours numbers but no one answered or returned the call. I mopped up with a towel and placed a bin under the leak to prevent further flooding. The cleaner mentioned that it's a known issue since the earthquake a while ago. Maybe they should fix this rather than have water entering the property.

Hotel room was comfortable and nicely styled I would stay again, however, I would request not to have the same room as it looked over the land next to the hotel and there was bottles being emptied into bins and some outside noise (on a Tuesday night). There was no noise from the pub downstairs through the floor though which was great. My only other issue was the blinds in the room don't fully cover the windows and there was a very bright light right outside one of the windows which leaked a lot of light into the room. The staff were lovely and the hotel floor was quiet and cosy feeling.

Lovely place to stay in on Clarendon St. the room was neat and tidy however definitely needs a dust and a first aid kit. Felt very secured in the complex and very sound proof from the main road. I loved the design of the rooms however I don’t think it is worth over $150 per night. Would stay there again depending on price.

Was a beautiful boutique hotel, shower had all the amenities and a mini bar if required Pod coffee was a hit, along with the cereals provided for breaky

Stayed here once before, liked the bar area. Only had a drink, have not tried their food maybe next time. Although there is noise from the street it is still a nice boutique hotel and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We will stay there again.

Upon arrival at 2pm all the doors were closed and registration/checkin was not open. Waited outside 30 mins till someone turned up. At checking was told the room type I booked was not available due to it being ransacked the day before. I was understanding in this as it was out of their control. I accepted a downgraded room for the night… only to get to the room, open the door and find another guest already occupying the room. After an embarrassing exchange returned to reception to be allocated another room. Following day was moved to the correct room however it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I decided to stay in the smoky room rather than go back to the small room that was allocated to me the day earlier. It was overall a very disorienting experience given my previous two stays at this hotel were great.

We were excited about booking this place, but it didn't quite live up to the pics or the reviews. The queen room was tiny, windows blocked out by a concrete wall, surfaces grubby, smart TV didn't work at all, image quality was rough, cupboard light was on the blink, weird flashing light next to our room at night, noisy A/C. The good stuff? Great location, bathroom was nice though and the bed was comfortable. The pub looked nice but was very quiet, guests aside. Service was friendly but really minimal. Rooftop area was awkwardly small. South Melbourne itself was a great spot to stay. Hugely walkable, the market, albert park, shopping and food options were fantastic.

Nice design but now faded. The room was very dusty. Lack of contact with anyone from the hotel due to the absence of any visible reception, makes it a strange dislocated place to stay.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, room was clean, modern, bed very comfortable. Will stay again
