雷丹酒店(The Redan Inn)

I actually went on the 13th March 2022 as i was working in the area and what a gem i picked. I met the owners Dan and Toby who are both top lads, even played cards with Dan and my colleague until the early hours of our first night there, there's even a picture from that night of me, my colleague and a local all called Dan playing cards on The Redan Inn's instagram. I was a bit cheeky when i met Toby (who is an amazing chef) and i asked if he could make me and my colleague a meal that was not on the menu of his choice for the second to last night we were there and he did not disappointed! Soft shell shrimp and calamari for a starter and then beef ribs cooked in his smoker, it was an amazing meal and the fact it was cooked especially for us made it such an unforgettable experience. The staff were all amazing. Lisa who runs The Redan could not have been more helpful and made me feel so welcomed along with Martha who put up with us until the early hours most nights. 10/10 accommodation, service and food, what an amazing place to stay!

This is a lovely boutique hotel with lots of character! Deco is beautiful and unique. Lovely staff and a yummy (free) breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic staff, funny, caring, felt very welcomed. Large bedroom and bathroom. Food outstanding for dinner and breakfast. Don’t want to criticise so just suggestions, new blind in bathroom as difficult to drop down, heating needed in bathroom and fix leaking shower tray but it was minor consideration so many amazing points. Location was fab, lovely feel to pub and loved the vintage signs and decorations. Great variety of drinks and locals really friendly too. Although it was very cold we peaked outside and so much space there to enjoy in better weather. Veggie pizza and curry was fantastic and very nice to see lots of variety and flavour. Very reasonable priced too.

Great place to stay. Very convenient for where I needed to be. The staff are just lovely and even changed my room on check in when I said I needed to work so that I had a bigger desk. Very comfortable and delicious dinner.

Lovely place to stay. Staff very helpful. Very clean . Only issue for myself we had room 6 that was situated on the very top floor which included lots of steps . Bed very comfortable. Breakfast plentiful and lovely. Coldnt fault it really . Will definitely rebook.

Lovely room with huge bathroom. Staff were great and really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Would happily stay here again.

Pub was good, food good but a bit slow with the breakfast (1/2 hour ) Cold tap in the room ran hot for quite a while & the shower needs fixing as it leaks badly around the door. Not much else really but a lovely stay ta. Oh there was a broken bottle in the car park on arrival but I swept that up & put it in a safe place.

Quirky place , well kept Butcomb beer , pleasing staff , enormous bedrooms, easy parking , quiet pub .

Really lovely place. Food in the restaurant was great. Staff really friendly. Had a great stay.
