Free Wi-Fi password free decent location really good price it was very affordable and clean definitely worth the trip to stay

Had roaches and thats really that can be said. The staff were rude and went thru our things when we left.

The house keeping staff was very nice

Our experience here was very disappointing. We arrived around 8:30 p.m. to check in for our weekend trip, but our room was still being cleaned, which was surprising. The housekeeping staff consisted of one woman and a young couple who were arguing and using profanity with each other while cleaning. It created a very uncomfortable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We didn't say anything, but after they noticed our reaction, it felt like they began talking about my wife and me, which made the situation even more awkward. We were also asked to pay a $60 cash deposit at check-in, which we found unusual and were not expecting. We decided to cancel our reservation before even entering the room because we no longer felt comfortable staying there. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this place.

Room was ghetto shower hardly had water the toilet leaked shower curtain didn't close, room felt damp, towls smelled weird

This is a poorly refreshed Motel 6. I was surprised with a cash demand for deposit. The rooms I purchased were not the rooms they gave me. The bed was good. Except for the bed bugs.

Room was decent, but the hallways were not. Also, there is a $60 cash deposit even when prebooked and prepared.

I liked the staff. The breakfast should have had meat and the pool should have been working. The staff and management was excellent. I will be staying there again.

When I first checked in to the Motel 6 Merrillville, Indiana on 6/17/2026, I knew it was a 2 star hotel. And honestly, I was ok with somused the password on the bottom of the inside keycard holder and the tablet would say, "Connected, but without internet." Now, in my experience, whenever I have seen this error message on a device sharingIf I attempted to use the phone to make a local call, all that I would hear was a busy tone, every time. I stopped trying to use the hotel room phone and just used my cell for my calls. just turned on my mobile Hotspot and my 8 year old used that instead. Until I received a message I had exceeded my hotspot allocated data. Then, I had to let him use my tablet, which normally would not be an issue. HOWEVER, after paying for my second iternary
