Great Service

The room was very old. Broken drawers. Mold on the tub. Door would only stay closed if the deadbolt was engaged. Very noisy traffic. Elevator was broken. Ice machine was broken. Breakfast was decent. It was Mardi Gras so everythng else was booked or we would have checked out and left. We had reseervations for 2 days before a cruise and 2 days after. We canceled our reservation for the following week.

Lorsque que j’arrive à la réception on m’informe que ma réservation est annulé alors que ma réservation est toujours active dans l’application wyndham (sûrement à cause de surbooking car l’hôtel est complet) je n’ai pas reçu de mail pas de sms ni d’appel pour m’informer avant de me déplacer il est 19h je suis seul avec ma fille de 3 ans sans aucune solution d’hébergement pour la soirée. Je déconseille cet endroit même si je n’ai séjourner dans l’hôtel j’en ai vu assez pour ne pas le conseiller

This hotel needs to be shut down!!! We booked this hotel for a one night stay and I promise you that’s was way to long. First off the room smelled like mold, there was rat turds on the window seals and ac unit, mold on the walls under the sink, the white comforter and sheet were brown like they hadn’t been washed, pulled the sheets off to check for bed bugs and the mattresses had stains on them as well. The entire parking lot has pot holes in it, the entire outside of the building smelled like a trash can. Extremely, extremely, extremely NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew I was cutting costs on the place to stay so we could enjoy more activities so I didn’t expect much. The staff is nice, but the building is dated. Our wifi worked well & it was quiet so we enjoyed our time. I liked that it was right off the interstate. The vending machine was pretty expensive & the ice machine was out of order. It could’ve been cleaner & the pool was green so we couldn’t swim. Breakfast was basically packaged muffins so we only ate there once. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but just know what you’re going into.

I must say the front desk lady was very nice at check in, but wow this place is bad! Property is in very poor condition. Carpet in rooms is stained and ripped. Rooms smell like mold. Lots of unsavory members of society walking around in the parking lot. I wouldn't recommend staying here, but we had no choice. The other Wyndham property we were supposed to stay at was closed, so they directed us to this raunchy place.

This Laquinta was the nastiest I've ever seen. Mold behind the toilet wire coming out the wall, pool was nasty and put off service. The place was just awful. Looks like an old roach motel. Need to be torn down ASAP!

overall poor. The staff was nice and friendly. the room was run down and smelled of mold although the room looked clean. the location is in rough part of town. sketchy people hanging around the parking lot. over all not a good experience.

Estuve de Jueves a Martes y solo el Lunes limpiaron la habitación El desayuno muy malo, y de muy mal modo te prohibían sentarte en el comedor para tomarlo. Tenías que buscar las cosas y llevarlas a la habitación No tuve recambio de toallas Mala experiencia en general

Vagrants on property Potholes and potholes Poorly maintained and an insult to LaQuinta name. Been staying at la quintas since 1980s and never experienced this type of rundown condition. Will never return to this place again

The rooms were smelly. Mildew to be exact. Carpet stuck. Bedding was smelly as well. And roaches were present for the stay as well. I didn’t want extra their stay. Don’t stay here. Wyndham needs to do better!

We booked this hotel through Hotwire. The rooms were dirty, lampshades dirty, a/c was blowing smoke, room smelled, tub had divits, ceiling showed signs of prior leaking. We checked out early. I had only stayed one night. Hotwire staff told us to leave & they would arrange a refund for the dates we did not use. A week later an email was sent that they had contacted the hotel and staff had told them we were still there. This is a completely shady experience. Not only did we have to leave and go to another hotel, we have yet to receive a refund for nights that we couldn't use.

Booked a room for a week, looked promising. Arrived after dark and checked in. Room was absolutely disgusting! Cracked ceiling, black mold in the bathroom, stains on the ceiling, carpet was so wet we could watch one of the nightstands disintegrate before our eyes and the bottom drawers of the dresser wouldn't open as they had swollen so much. Room service was good when it happened. Some days you got replacement items, other days none. I am surprised Wyndham allows their name to be associated with this. Do not recommend!

I just stayed here during a quick weekend visit to New Orleans. La Quinta should really be appalled at this motel being associated with their brand. It seems like both management and the cleaning staff have given up or just don't care. Firstly, nothing against Metairie, but if you are in New Orleans to see the French Quarter/CBD this is just too far out in my opinion, and I've learned my lesson to just stay in that area from now on. Otherwise, I just found the room itself to be worn out, with strange marks/stains on the ceiling and walls. There was a quite sizable hole in the bathroom door ( you couldn't see through it, but still why it hadn't been fixed was perplexing). The shower curtain had mold stains like it hadn't been changed in forever. Then to add to this, one of the beds had strange stains on the sheets, almost looked like bedbugs but I'm honestly not sure. The sheets on the other bed thankfully were clean. If all of that wasn't enough, while opening the drawers I found an old soda bottle, still full of soda. Lastly, breakfast in the morning was barely anything. I would absolutely find somewhere else to stay.
