Excited about the potential savings, I decided to call the hotel and inquire if they could honor the promotion on my existing reservation or if I should cancel and rebook. The person on the phone assured me that applying the promotion would not be a problem. Little did I know that this was the beginning of a nightmare. Upon checkout, it became apparent that the front desk and booking staff were not only unhelpful but also shockingly rude. It felt as if they were deliberately taking advantage of me, possibly because I am young. The level of disrespect I encountered was utterly unacceptable. To make matters worse, it took me a whole week to finally get in touch with the manager, who had promised to call me back but never did. When they did answer the phone, their demeanor was disgustingly rude and disrespectful, leaving me at a loss for words. While the area surrounding the hotel is undeniably beautiful, I strongly advise against staying at Capo La Gala if you expect to be treated with respect and kindness. The staff's behavior tarnished my entire experience, and I regret choosing this establishment for my vacation. Furthermore, I feel compelled to mention the false advertising regarding the hot tub. The pictures online depict a luxurious hot tub, but to my dismay, it turned out to be nothing more than a cold tub. There was no heat, rendering it completely unusable during my entire trip. It is highly deceptive and misleading to showcase amenities that do not live up to their advertised functionality. In conclusion, my stay at Capo La Gala was marred by rude and disrespectful staff, unfulfilled promises, and false advertising. I would strongly caution anyone seeking a pleasant and respectful experience to look elsewhere. It's a shame that such a beautiful location is let down by such abysmal service.
