I wanted to extend my heartfelt compliments to the entire team at Hotel Breakwater South Beach, particularly Team Lily, Kai, and Adriana, for making our family’s stay truly memorable.
Lily, in particular, welcomed us with grace and patience, going above and beyond to check us in earlier, recognizing the exhaustion from the scorching South Beach climate. Her efforts to ensure our rooms were as close as possible showed a dedication to guest satisfaction and upheld the hotel’s strong sense of professionalism. When a mix-up with one of our guest rooms occurred through *******, Lily handled the situation efficiently, asking us to call ******* while simultaneously resolving the issue on her end.
Furthermore, the rest of the staff diligently assisted us with our nine-person sized luggage, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay.
Regarding the hotel’s ambience, we found it to be somewhat average, with multiple entrances that occasionally led to awkward encounters with other guests. We understand this may not be easily altered, but it’s worth noting for future improvements.
Our rooms, while relatively nice and chic, felt a bit dated. The showers, offering both handle-style and rainshower options, were a highlight. However, we did encounter a concerning smell, resembling moldy water, in rooms 202, 208, 211, and 220. It would be beneficial for the hotel to address and investigate this matter to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
