The Sonder team made a huge mistake and lost my reservation in their system. I had already landed in Miami and had no choice but to take them up on their very substandard offer to relocate 20 minutes away in this hotel. given it was a fully booked weekend (Bitcoin conference was in town) I had no choice. They admitted their mistake but chose not to put me near the hotel (for more money they could have put me in an adjacent hotel) but instead to put me 20 minutes away so that I had to UBer in for everything. Since the conference had 50k people driving in was a disaster and I was late for several events. To make matters worse, they didn’t allow late check out. To be fair, Everyone was nice and tried to be helpful, but I found they had no power to do right by their customers. For that reason, buyer beware.
