All was good

Good email instructions for how to get in. Manager met me at reception and showed me the ropes for after-hours access, very easy. No dining room, so you pick your breakfast from a menu (with many options) and they bring it to your room at a time that suits you. That’s service! Nice area, very walkable. Manager also provided a list of good restaurants and cocktail bars, both in the area and some further away. I tried a couple and was not disappointed.

This was a great place to stay at a reasonable price for the three nights I was visiting Milan and the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was very comfortable and clean. I've stayed in various apartments and BnB's in Italy before, so I can attest that this is a very nice one! I really appreciated the mini fridge that was stocked with drinks for purchase. I arrived much later at night than I had expected, and I was so grateful for the cold drink in my room so that I didn't have to go out in the dark on my first night there. The location made it very easier to catch buses, trams, and Metros (all use the same ticket system so I just purchased a 3-day pass) to see all the major sites in Milan. I am a single woman who has traveled alone in Italy before, and I felt very safe here.

Fake hotel façade pictures, no hot water so ice cold showers for two days with no resolution, breakfast had to be requested and would come short of items, shower leaked everywhere, coffee maker leaked everywhere, A/C leaked everywhere, our towels were used for cleaning leaks not our own showers, just ridiculous, owner rude and told us at 8 pm first day we had no hot water and it should get fixed next day. Never did and we had to freeze in ice cold shower again, all he said was ‘OOPS SORRY!’ No resolution. This is not a hotel, it is far from tourist attractions, it is a residential building in a common street and you have to go through some ridiculous rituals of codes and keys to get in after 5 pm, climb 2 floors of stairs, etc more like a B&B. The picture shown is NOT the hotel, it is some random picture, beware!

Fantastico Stay in Milano! Really welcoming and lovely boutique guest house in a nice area near Piazza Tricolore 30 minute walk to Duomo Di Milano and shopping area. Would recommend eating on the canal side at Navigli too. Overall we loved Milan and its people!

First of all, this guesthouse was the worst. The website said the desk open time from 8am to 5pm. But when I contacted manager at the airport he told me to call when I arrived because they were open until 2pm. When I arrived at 3:40 pm he got angry because I couldn't understand his English well, It was such a hard time, and what was even harder was that he got angry every time I asked him again because I couldn't quickly understand his difficult explanation of where the key box was and room . I think they should have given a detailed explanation by email or sent me a pictures,so that all guests would understand easily and there would be no trouble. The shower room leaked water to the outside floor every time I showered, so I had to wipe the water off the bathroom floor after showering. The sink was clogged and didn't drain well. there was nothing to see around the guest house, so I had to use public transportation to get around. The room was too cold, so I slept wearing a long jacket .Breakfast is not a buffet, but a menu is sent to you to choose from,and it is only delivered to your room, and breakfast is only open from 8 to 9:30 a.m. There aren't many options either .Many people will miss breakfast. It was the worst service I've ever had during my trip.😞😢😡
