Their computer system was down when we arrived so they had to manually check us in. Late in the evening, someone was given the same room as us and actually entered our room while we were in it. It is obvious that the hotel was understaffed. The staff that were there were friendly and did what they could, but often had to leave the front desk unmanned to do other duties.

Not happy with this property. It’s run down, very unclean. You can tell they do the minimum for cleaning in the rooms and common areas. The pool was filthy, water was green and burnt your eyes with chlorine. The hot tub had brown sludge on the sides and was cold. Linens were badly stained, bathrooms were filthy, air conditions had a terrible smell coming from them. Not impressed.

The price I paid for this room based off previous reviews left much to be desired. I drove 400 miles to go to the fair and a concert. The staff were all very friendly but this hotel would not have been my first choice had I seen it first. Its conveniently located near everything. I stayed there with my mom and two kids. The room itself was much smaller than I imagined. The A/C gave off a musty smell but it was hot so we had to keep it on. The bathroom was small but clean. I think I could have overlooked some of it but the carpets were gross. My three year old took off his shoes, socks and his feet ended up super dirty. I dont even know how a carpet gets like that. Every time I cleaned his feet they were dirty again if he was bare foot. I dont like to leave bad reviews but this hotel can do a lot to improve. Starting with cleaning the carpets.

Very very small room. Entire building dirty, especially the room. No bugs, so that’s a bonus. Did the trick for a stay with limited time spent at the hotel. Also, prices increased $150/night during the State Fair. Front desk staff dressed unprofessionally but were friendly. Loved the dogs though. Did not try the breakfast provided. Cops were at the hotel multiple times. Thin walls therefore can hear everything. Would not stay here again.

The hotel was gross. Hair all over the bathroom floor. Piles of dirt swept into the corners. Pool area smelled awful. Front desk lady was outside smoking when I arrived and said I’ll be right there and continued to smoke before helping me check in. Breakfast was like yogurt and toast that’s it! Will never stay here again

The location of the hotel was the best part for us. The hotel itself was not what he had hoped for. The pictures on the website are deceiving. The pool was practically un-useable. If you just needed a bed for the night, it would work but if you are staying for multiple nights and want to use the pool, we would not recommend this hotel.

Our first room we were assigned smelled like someone just smoked a pack of cigarettes in it. We went down to the front desk and asked to switch rooms. The receptionist seemed annoyed and stated all the rooms were none smoking but then switched our room. The second room smelt like cigarettes but a lighter more tolerable smell. There were cigarette burns in the ottoman. The cushions of the couch, chairs, and window sill were all stained. We opened the refrigerator and there was left over beer and food from the people before us that didn’t get cleaned out. There were crumbs in the pullout bed. They gave us one towel in the room and there was no bedding for the pullout bed. We called to the front desk and they told us we had to come and pick it up but there weren’t any clean towels or bedding at the moment so we’d have to come down later to pick it up (this was 5pm). When we got back from our destination everything was clean and ready at 12am but no pillows were available. The guy at the front desk was helpful he went to the only empty room and grabbed a pillow since there were no more clean ones available. Overall the room seemed dirty and they need to purchase more/new linen.

The WORST hotel experience I have ever had. We showed up at nearly midnight after a little f travel to the tiny lobby filled up with probably 20 to 30 completely drunk and very loud people. Management was unprofessional, dressed awful, rude and unhelpful. They did not have the suite I paid for available even though that’s what I paid for… We got to our room and there was brown chunky water in the sink, sheets were off the bed, pillows were scattered around. The room was not clean. When we told management this, they called us downstairs where we waited over 30 minutes with no help. There was no one to clean our room, and no other rooms available. After another 15 minutes of waiting, we walked out of the hotel and found something else. Zero out of 10 stars, absolutely atrosive. Terrible terrible management!!!

The room was clean, but there were no pillow case on the pillows also only 3 instead of 4 pillows. I went down to the front desk and they handed me the pillow and pillow cases and complained about being short staff and hiring temps that did not do a good job. I don't stay and pay to have to do that job. The hot top was broken and was given excuses why that wasn't working. The staff was friendly enough. The breakfast was good, some sausage or bacon would have been nice. The pancake maker is what made it good otherwise just okay. The price was one of the cheapest so I shouldn't complain to much.
