What an amazing experience to stay at Casa Arequipa. The beautiful historic home is in a lovely residential, tree-lined street just a 12 min walk to Plaza de Armas. Each of the spacious rooms is uniquely decorated and felt very luxurious. The beds are super-comfortable. We were welcomed by our lovely host Eddy who was amazing throughout our stay and so helpful with great tips on Arequipa. Breakfast was served on the stunning top floor terrace overlooking the mountains and volcano and was the best breakfast and coffee of our trip. What an amazing stay, this stunning hotel is faultless and it were sad to leave !

This is a beautiful hotel experience. The large rooms are spotlessly clean, elegant and individually decorated. The hotel itself is homely and tasteful. Beautiful breakfast on the roof terrace with amazing views of snow capped mountains and Misty the volcano. Eddy the owner and all the staff cannot be more helpful. An easy 10 in walk into town. Best stay in Peru.

The staff here was amazing, a great bargain for a cozy spot. Free breakfast every day was nice and it had a great view. We would often ask the staff for recs and they would help us with anything we needed. The rooms were comfy and very affordable as well.

Absolutely phenomenal- book this spot immediately. Comfiest bed we’ve stayed in during our 2.5 months of travel, great hot shower- and the most unbelievable coffee (and we came from colombia and Ecuador). We took an overnight bus to arrive in Arequipa at 5 am (like many of you will) and Eddie the owner arranged for a free early check in for us so we could just crash as soon as we got here. Super nice setup of the hotel - gorgeous rooftop terrace w views of the mountains and volcanos that gets great sun every morning. Eddie is an absolute class act- fantastic service from him and his team. We had our laundry done here for a reasonable price and Eddie helped us book a canyon hike. 5 stars all around.

Myself and 5 friends recently enjoyed a fantastic 2 week holiday in Peru. One of our destinations was the charming city of Arequipa. Rather than stay at a typical corporate hotel, we sought a boutique hotel in a convenient location, and chose the wonderful Casa Arequipa. We enjoyed our 2.5 night stay tremendously, thanks to the owner Eddy and his friendly staff. We traveled in Peru on PeruHop bus which arrives in Arequipa from Nazca at 5:30am. We knew we would be tired after the long overnight bus journey, so we contacted the hotel well in advance to arrange a very early check-in. The owner Eddy was there to greet us at the very early time, and arranged an early breakfast for us. Our 3 morning breakfasts at the hotel were excellent, served on the top floor with beautiful views. Our rooms were spotless with very comfortable beds. The hotel is located on a quiet street with easy access to Arequipa's historical center. An easy 15 minute walk from the hotel to Plaza de Armas. There is much to do in Arequipa, and the hotel owner Eddy will gladly suggest activities and restaurants. Be sure to try one of Arequipa's unique "picanteria" style restaurants with local cuisine you won't find elsewhere in Peru. We loved Casa Arequipa and highly recommend it.

Adrian, the owner of the hotel, is a wonderful host going to great lengths to make your stay a precious one. Comfortable beds, good WLAN, excellent breakfast on the rooftop terrace. If you ask Adrian nicely he will prepare a delicious Avocado salad that even the Washington Post praised. The ladies in his team are also very charming and need to be mentioned! Thank you!

Charming small hotel within easy reach of the Plaza de Armas, on a quiet street. The manager and staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, and booked our trips and made our restaurant reservations. They even got up at 3 AM to send us off on a tour to the Colca canyon. The rooms are themed and unique, and decorated with beautiful wooden furniture and in striking colours. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot. The breakfast is of high quality and served on the rooftop with a view of the volcanos. Drinks are available for a reasonable price. We cannot recommend this more highly.

We spent a few nights here. The hotel is very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I got sick, the staff immediately offered to help. They also organized a doctor for me. We could easily extend a night and also have breakfast later. I can highly recommend this hotel!

The place is beautiful, located at a quiet neighborhood 10 minutes walk from the center. Edi is a wonderful host- helpful, kind and caring, goes far and beyond to make everything perfect for his guests. Great breakfast served on a beautiful rooftop.

Top location, amazing interior, beds and rooms are incredibly comfortable. The best part of this place is the amazing service: we got help with everything we asked for and we were treated like family. The breakfast was great and we were even provided some snacks for a long day of touring. Can’t recommend this place enough - if you go to Arequipa do yourself a favor and stay here.
