米利沙薩默塞特住宿(Somerset Mirissa)

Хороший отель, все понравилось, классный бассейн, отзывчивый персонал. Только комары доставали, лучше не открывать двери и окна вечером/рано утром! И wifi плохой, но это мелочи))

Location is excellent, the hotel itself is clean (minus the many mosquitoes) and some rooms are large. Staff are friendly and approachable however unfortunately there were a few things that made our stay less enjoyable and I’d say it’s overpriced. Firstly, we stayed for 3 night but on our last night (Christmas Day) we had to move rooms which wasn’t ideal or what we wanted to do on our Christmas Day. The room we moved to wasn’t the same size as the room we had which was disappointing, it was also inundated with mosquitoes/flies/ants which was strange as the other room wasn’t. Breakfast was the worst we’ve experienced during our 3 week stay in Sri Lanka, limited variety, it was certainly lacking creativity and was just so dull & very unappealing. You can also order bacon with your eggs which wasn’t told to us, we only know this because we heard it from another guests.On our first night we were able to order drinks from the bar which was really reasonably priced, sadly on Christmas Day the bar was shut even though it was still advertised in our room. The closure of this bar wasn’t told to us or advertised at all and when we questioned it they didn’t seem to care. Overall, the bed was comfy shower is great, be careful of the taps they get very hot very quickly but it is certainly over priced in comparison to the other 5 hotels we have stayed at.

We originally had our booking at another Somerset Mirissa hotel but asked to move to the beach and the team were very accommodating. Although there were a few minor issues with the room, the team sorted these out quickly and efficiently. There is a beach through the garden of the hotel with bars, restaurants and a clean beach. The staff at this hotel were excellent - special shout out to the reception team - I’m only sorry I didn’t get the name of the young man who was so helpful. The service here is what drives my high recommendation. Room only so not sure on breakfast Definitely need mosquito repellent

Beautiful hotel on Missa beach. Clean and comfy rooms available with amenities such as hot water shower, tea/coffee, mini fridge, hair dryer, in room safe, tv, AC etc. You can access the beach through their property. The ocean is just 50m away. Their food was great and delicious. Exceptional customer service by Mr. Amila and Mr. Dihan. All staff were very polite and always smiling. I did a solo trip and they were always caring about my safety. Parrot rock, turtle point and coconut tree hill are within walking distance. If you are interested they can arrange ayurvedic massage and whale tours as well. Highly recommended.

Belle chambre , avec vue mer , à choisir absolument , ne donnant pas sur galle road pour tranquillité, personnel sympa et serviable, nous avons pu laisser nos sacs à dos après le Check out , petit resto de plage très sympa juste devant ou passer la journée , repérable à son drapeau breton.

Not worth what we paid for tbh! No wifi in the room, weak wifi in the lobby. Staff were nice and polite; decent breakfast- not too many choices. Rooms could have been slightly bigger- has all the basic items. The hotel looks fancy from the outside with the pool but thats about it.

Good location-right on the beach and has local shops and restaurants near by. Good place for surfing. Hotel food was average. Rooms were standard although wifi did not work properly. Staff were pleasant however do not go to the spa that staff recommend/promote. The spa is Ayurvedic spa about 5km from the hotel. There was only two masseuse and the gentleman was extremely extremely inappropriate with female customers.

From the moment we stepped in, the hotel impressed us with its spacious, well-appointed rooms that were clean and comfortable. The heart of Somerset Blue, however, lies in its staff. The team, especially those at the restaurant and front office, were not just professional but genuinely caring and attentive. Their warmth and helpfulness added a personal touch to our experience, making us feel truly valued and cared for. While the food was satisfactory, what stood out was the level of attentiveness with which it was served. Each meal was a pleasant experience, not just for the flavors but also for the service that accompanied it. Our stay was comfortable in every aspect. The hotel's location is conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the surroundings. The amenities provided were more than sufficient, catering to all our needs and ensuring a hassle-free stay. Additionally, considering the quality, the food was well-priced, adding to the overall value of our stay.
