菲茨羅伊旅館 (Fitzroy Inn) 是一棟美麗的歷史宅邸，坐落在華麗的花園中，毗鄰一些很棒的餐廳、咖啡館和古董店，距離米塔貢鎮中心僅幾步之遙。 （一定要嘗試一下主街上的 Paste。）我們的房間很漂亮，淋浴很好，工作人員也很可愛。由於我們到達前一天下了傾盆大雨，歐陸式早餐有點不盡人意，但這意味著我們發現了屢獲殊榮的 Gumnut 麵包店（杏仁羊角麵包非常好吃）。我們很樂意住得更久一些並且還會再來。

During my one-night stay at Fitzroy Inn, the experience wasn't quite as expected. Upon our arrival, the reception was empty, so we had to call the hotel to arrange our check-in. Once we entered our room, we were disappointed to find a musty smell. The blinds, especially in the bathroom, were mouldy and dusty. Additionally, there were cracks in the walls and some of the windows were cracked as well. The inside of the kettle was dirty, so we couldn't use it to make tea, especially given how cold it was outside. The heater didn't work well; it was very weak. One of the towels was slightly dirty as well. The following day, at breakfast, we were further disappointed. There were various bread loaves, but none were gluten-free, and there was no alternative milk for coffee. The overall breakfast experience was subpar, with everything seeming like it was just store-bought. The overall experience did not meet the expectations set by such a beautiful place, especially considering the amount paid for the stay. I will not be returning.

Our room was in the “Schoolmasters Residence”, nice building about 20 years old, we had a large spacious room with ensuite bathroom, generally good standard but the shower had some minor dirt and mould on the floor tiles at the edge and the shower head was unable to be adjusted so a harsh jet of water resulted, splashing around the floor and in the bathroom area which was also due to the shower having only one pane of glass however the room was generally well equipped. No road noise although some train noise if you’re a light sleeper plus the air-conditioned was located above the bed which made the room noisy at night as that was the only heating available for very cold nights. Good on-site parking and chargers for EV cars. Breakfast room was disappointing, no staff in attendance, and it was very cold, about 10 degrees guests freezing until we put on the air conditioning. Most guests were confused re where everything was, we let someone know where the coffee machine was (hidden around a corner out of site) and the strawberry jam and butter ran out by 8.00am so go early for breakfast, however it was a fairly good continental breakfast. Although there was no one in Reception there was a mobile number you could phone. The front “inn” building was historic, and overall a reasonably place for a 3.5 star rating.

Beautiful property! Lovely gardens and very clean! We had a loft room as we were just travelling through, had everything we needed.

Had the bestest time . Super friendly staff . Great breakfast. Clean comfy rooms. Spooks away that wknd .lol Would stay again for sure .

A beautifully restored 1836 coaching inn on large, manicured grounds. I had been wanting to visit for years. A good base for touring the magnificent Southern Highlands.

My husband and I had a much needed break away. We love old B&B’s and the Fitzroy Inn certainly had some history!!! Nice room (5) upstairs looking over the front of the Inn, but all the gardens were beautifully kept with bridges, pond, gazebo etc Lovely host and very obliging staff. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Pleasant and peaceful, with helpful, friendly staff. Sit and watch the sunset from the western verandah, read a book in one of several beautiful sitting rooms, or wander the gardens. A self-guided walk through its historic past is also amazing. Thank you, Fitzroy in - we loved our stay

What a charming place to stay. We stayed one night on our way to Melbourne and one night on the way back. Both rooms were delightful, warm, comfortable, with everything you could need. The historic inn and the grounds are worth exploring. Two big bonuses for us were destination charging for ev’s and pet friendly. We highly recommend the Fitzroy Inn.

A beautiful place to stay. Our room was huge and bed most comfortable. John is a gracious host and we enjoyed the history walk around the buildings. The Fitzroy Inn is a welcome retreat and worth staying for a few days. Nice breakfast and coffee. Enjoyed a takeaway pizza on the verandah with a bottle of wine for supper. Perfect! Highly recommended.

A charming setting for a peaceful few days in the Southern Highlands. The room was spacious and particularly neat and clean. Altogether a lovely ‘retreat’.

We decided to have breakfast in Mittagong and saw a sign advertising the Fitzroy Inn for breakfast so decided to go there. We were early but that was no problem and were quickly served tea and coffee. The very welcoming manager then found us some newspapers to read while we waited. We were soon given menus and ordered a full breakfast each. It was delicious and certainly filled us up. They will soon be doing Sunday roasts for lunch. I think we'll be back!

We arrived about 12.30am having just flown from Dubai to Sydney. Had arranged late checkout for the next day. The room was perfect - getting so difficult to get walk in shower/mobility accessible rooms these days. The property is absolutely gorgeous with period appropriate furnishings, comfortable bed, and our breakfast box (when we finally found it as it had not been in the room as arranged) was terrific. Even the wee little dogs were welcoming. Hope to return. The only downside was when sound of trains, but as someone commented "they just add to the rural ambience". Was not a deal breaker. And beautiful gardens.

Had an amazing time at my son’s wedding . A lovely place with plenty of history . It’s a country experience and the rooms are lovely. Make sure you explore the main house . Weddings can be stressful but it all came together in the end. A beautiful setting.
