Bed was very comfortable. I stayed in the queen suite and it was very accommodating with a kitchenette. Employees were very friendly and gave my son some toy to play with in their pool. I think they’ve done some renovations because I was not expecting it to look nicer in our room than some bigger-named hotels.

I have been staying at the Residence Inn Mobile in 8 day increments on business since Feb-26th until April 10. I wasn't always in the same room. I did always have issues with the internet not being adequate for use. There always seemed to be issues with the rooms at this hotel. The refrigerators were always dented and made loud noises. The furniture (couch) had several holes. Walls seemed to be crumbling or had non repaired holes from removed microwaves. I had a work partner stay in room 308 and turn in, the garbage disposal not working, no hot water in the kitchen sink, no coffee cups, no spoons, no spatula, the fire alarm hanging from the ceiling and the bathroom fan extremely dirty. 16 days later I checked into this room and found the same items! This is unacceptable for any hotel chain.. I did get these items fixed but why should I have to complain about these things to get them fixed when they were turned in 2 weeks prior. The next time checking into this hotel I found no hot water in the kitchen sink again! I also found the internet was so lacking my phone wouldn't hook up to it let alone my iPad. I also had no hot water in the morning for my shower or to clean the morning dishes. This is when I checked out and will not return.This hotel isn't up to Marriott standards let alone Motel 6! It’s just not worth the headache when there are hotels close by that’s are exceptional at the same price. The employees here are great for the most part. The hotel itself is just not kept up adequately at all!

I stayed at the Resident Inn Marriott in Mobile Alabama.950 W I-65 Service Rd S.These are pictures from my Room218 Dec23-27,2023 Queen One bedroom Suite.My room looked nothing like the pictures shown online. It was very disappointing.I have several emails from contacting customer service all weekend about the condition of the room. I spoke with the lady at the front desk.She was very unbothered.There was no hot water, water damage on the ceilings, the appliance(stovetop)was broken with missing knobs.The carpet was stained.The dishwasher had the insulation or whatever it was coming out of the sides.The rooms were smelly and dingy.Just not Marriott quality at all.No housekeeping or cleaning done or available during the stay. You had to take your own trash out.The front desk lady told me when I checked in said that she would place a work order and someone would be by the next day. However, there was no truth to that at all, the next evening I went down to inquire, the guy at the front desk said there was no work order and he had no idea what I was talking about.They also slid a letter under our door at some point that said they let their staff off for the holidays.It would have been nice to know upon check in so we were told and we could have found somewhere else to stay. I have never stayed at a hotel where there was minimal to no staff. Terrible experience for a Christmas Holiday weekend. On a positive note and the only positive was the male staff (Marquise) that was very pleasant keeping breakfast stocked. The front desk staff was not concerned at all.When, I checked out,I mentioned the condition of the room and all the guy said was "Im sorry".There was nothing he could do because I booked through third party but I could call the General Manager which will be in by9.I spoke with her.She said to send her the pictures to her email and she would go take a look before she leaves for the day.She also said she left her phone at home and she would check the email that I sent with pics included and I did not hear anything else from her.Again, what was advertised online nice and clean is not what I ended up with in person. It was total opposite.The online advertising was very misleading.

Definitely in the top five hotel customer experiences I've ever had! Management made a bad situation right before we even knew about it, which is always appreciated. Indoor pool was great. Breakfast was good. Convenient, safe location. Will be back next time we're in town.

This is a very good hotel for the price range. The hotel is located off of the I-65 frontage road, behind the Fairfield Inn. This means that you are removed from the interstate noise but still close to many restaurants. Checkin was fast, front desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming. The room itself was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed. The gym is about the size you'd expect for a hotel this size and had a few pierced of equipment not found in the standard hotel gym (several yoga mats, an exercise ball). The indoor pool has a lift chair available for handicap access. Breakfast was the standard offering BUT I like the fact that their waffles were pre-made instead of a messy machine. Good quality Chobani yogurt was offered instead of cheaper options. There were a few minor issues which is why I'm only giving it four stars. The interior is starting to show its age but it is far from being thread bare. It simply lacks the sparkle found in new hotels. The shower is a bath tub combination instead of an updated walk-in shower but the hotel does offer handicapped rooms if this is an issue. Finally, I was disappointed that there were not any "No Smoking" signs posted at their outdoor patio area. It was a nice evening and we would have loved to sit outside by the fire pit but did not want to breathe someone's smoke. Overall, I'd stay here again without hesitation despite these few drawbacks.

My husband and I recently overnighted at this hotel, one we have stayed at many times through the years on our road trip to S. Florida. This time, however, I accidentally left something behind in the room that was extremely important to me personally. Ten hours later I discovered exactly what I had done and was truly heartsick! Immediately calling the hotel, Leigh answered the phone, heard what I asking, went to the room where we had stayed and retrieved the item I had left behind. She was so kind, helpful and reassuring. Following this call, another desk clerk, Jessica, was caring and patient with me on the phone the following day,; and finally the manager, Gwynn, who took care of all the details of getting my item returned to me and saw to that personally. At no time, in any of these exchanges, was there any hint of exasperation or irritation on the part of any of the staff at my persistent calls or many questions. They were professional, helpful, kind, concerned and pro-active to make sure I would once again have what belonged to me. In this day and age, in this culture of no individual moral compass, Gwynn and her staff show the highest regard for their guests and treat them with integrity, honesty and sincere consideration for their needs. If I could give this hotel a higher rating I would!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the staff Ms. Crystal, Leigh and the Asst Housekeeping Supervisor... You ladies are handling it! The property is very well kept, indoors and outdoors. Beautiful intimate indoor pool, pleasant seating area outside. The staff are extremely accommodating! The room was immaculate. As a former hotelier, I actually did a point check when I walked in my room. Not a single hair, piece of trash, or crumb of dirt were found. I'm extremely impressed, but not surprised. What a great team. Thank you, to all the staff, and keep on keeping on!

this place is tired. there is no space to walk a dog unlike published. near busy highway. kitchen appliances and kitchen pretty sad. sorry I have nothing more to say about it other then try one of the ohter hotels nearby
