Really lovely pub with rooms, felt very welcome and well-looked after. Room was large & comfortable and as expected for a pub with rooms. Cooked to order breakfast was top notch. A lovely little village for autumnal walks right on the doorstep

I cannot fault the food here and have enjoyed every meal I've had. I've just read that they have won a top award in food hygiene so well done and easily deserved. The Staff are very friendly but sometimes have to put up with rude people from the campsite (not all of them are rude but I have witnessed several occasions when they are). There is something for everyone, and the garden on a Sunday afternoon is wonderful when you can sit outside and enjoy a meal.

We were recommended this pub by the person whose property we were staying at. We went Sunday lunch. The food was nice and plenty of it. The staff on arriving, well the lady behind the bar, was a little grumpy when we arrived but the next woman we saw, who went through the cavrey options was really friendly and helpful. The issue was the stench of sewage outside when parking, the dog friendly area being more like a darts / snooker area with a few tables chucked in. There were a number of table of people eating when a local with his kid came in a just put the football on the TV. Great but the TV was above a families head meaning the man and his soon were sat looking at them the whole time. Not ideal really, I appreciate keep your locals happy but there should be a balance. What would stop me going back, in fact what did stop us returning later in the week was finding out that this pub only had 2 stars / points for hygiene rating and what seemed to be letting it down was everything. The nearby Crown Inn was much nicer.

The food was beautiful. We had a carvery. Beef,turkey and ham on offer.lots of different veg. I had a bottle of prosecco to share with a friend.....it was cheaper than my local pub by 6 pounds. The guys had lager 60 pence cheaper.....lovely polite happy friendly staff very welcoming lady and landlord behind the bar.All the veg was beautifully cooked.and not frozen....all fresh....and very good portion size....we will be back....keep up the great work...

I stayed for 4 nights breakfast was ample and very enjoyable having a hot cooked breakfast. The room was basic but clean I was out all day and needed somewhere close by to stay. The Inn on the Green provided this. Staff were polite and accomodating. As mentioned by others the property both externally and in the room I stayed could do with decorating. I would stay at this property agsin.

After a violin-piano music evening at Leith Hill Place, we stopped at The Inn on the Green for a quick snack. All of it was very delicious - definitely recommend. The staff were excellent. We will go again.

We stayed at the camp site behind the pub. The food at The Inn on the Green was excellent. Great menu lovely warm welcome. It really is one of the best run pubs I have ever been in . Look forward to coming back 🙌

Superb pub and dog friendly in the bar! Good selection of food! Been here several times, always a friendly welcome and always excellent food at reasonable prices! Really enjoyed the gammon and the scampi! Beer is good too! Lovely beer garden too! Highly recommend 🥳 Highly recommend!

Service and food very good, however the venue needs lots of TLC. Flaking walls and woodwork inside and out.
