尼亞利海灘度假酒店(Nyali Beach Holiday Resort)

It is worth the trip to this gem tucked away on Nyali Beach! Beautiful, clean, and safe, with a fantastic pool and poolside bar overlooking the soft white sand beach. The staff are all wonderfully helpful, attentive, and friendly. The restaurant is top notch, especially for Indian cuisine, though it has a wide ranging selection.

Have visited this hotel a few times though have never stayed here. Usually we call in for coffee and sometimes for a meal as it is situated on the beach with a lovely view of the ocean. From the outside, the rooms look really nice, and there is a pool which is on two levels. The service we have had each time we visit has always been good, the waiters friendly and helpful. The coffee and tea (my husband is a tea drinker) is good and always hot. The food we have eaten is excellent…tasty and very fresh with a good portion size. The hotel itself is small but always seems very clean. It is a short distance away from the public Nyali Beach which means the beach here is much quieter and more secluded. But if you want more excitement, you will find it only a short walk away. Camel rides are available on your doorstep. We live here, but from what we have seen and experienced, this hotel seems really nice.

My towel had 2 holes in it, when requested to change no one came from house keeping to get them, the reception lady handles everything and is probably overwhelmed, I had to leave early and requested them early breakfast a day prior which was not ready the next day, and neither did they make what I requested.

Beautiful beach front and pool view. However, the customer service was awful. I paid for an air conditioned room but it was not working and wasn’t fixed until the next day. We didn’t sleep. Also, our water some how was shut off in the upstairs bathrooms with no warning from management as my family was in the middle of showering. Was told it would be back in 30 minutes. I was told management could not be reach. If you don’t mind poor service but a great view maybe stay here.

Comfortable beds, good service, spectacular view and pretty flowers and lizards in the garden. The pool was refreshing and well maintained. Towels, couch and bathrooms a little run down and no sharp knives or dish soap in the kitchen.

The checkin was quick and staff were helpful, the pool is nice and big. There is no ac in the lounge area which is annoying. The cottage was decent. Right on the beach which is so nice.

Previously reviewed this hotel and gave it 5* however, we visited yesterday and were treated abysmally. We have been visiting this hotel for months now, sometimes just for drinks, sometimes for lunch, or dinner in the evenings. It appears the management want to charge 2000 shillings for anyone to enter the hotel when tourists are around. This allows them to use the pool. We only wanted a drink after a long day and it was 5pm. Not likely to pay 2,500/- for a cup of tea! The reception staff were highly abusive, called security, and threatened to call the police! We are in our late 60’s and run an NGO here in Kenya. The man in reception also told us that we didn’t know who we were dealing with and what he could do to us! Obviously we will not visit this hotel again in the future, nor will any visitors to the NGO. We will remove this hotel from our list of recommended hotels for visitors as the abuse is not something anyone should suffer. The man in reception also advised my husband he should go to Whitesands Hotel! Obviously Nyali Beach Holiday Resort doesn’t wish rich Mzungus to visit or stay so I suggest if you can afford it, look at the many other and better hotels in the area.

Amazing place! It was all that I wanted. Quiet, clean, great staff, spacious room, balcony, right on the beach, beautifully maintained gardens . Breakfast and restuarant room needs to be improved. Pool and pool bar excellent. Ample sitting area outdoors. Helpful and smiling staff. Well worth a visit.

They have a great Indian restaurant. However inorder to access the restaurant for a meal, we were asked to pay KShs. 2000/00 per person ....excluding the cost of the meal. We were 2 groups of about 10 people each and it did not make sense at all to pay KShs. 40,000/00 as access fee to the restaurant. The front office staff were very rude and did not allow any discussion or negotiation despite us suggesting that the access fee is reimbursed with the food bill. I dont think i will ever visit the place again.
