Πολυ καλο ξενοδοχειο και δωματια με θεα καστρο και θαλασσα στα πιο ψηλα σημεια του καστρου ...Διχωρο δωματιο σε επιπεδα με διπλο και μονο κρεββατι στο καθενα...ψυγειο και στα 2 επιπεδα...τηλεοραση στο ενα..και παραδοσιακη διαρυθμιση και επιπλωση...αναπαυτικα στρωματα και μαξιλαρια...μπανιο με ντουζιερα και σεσουαρ...πολυ καλο πρωινο...

Αν θες μόνο για εμπειρία να μείνεις μέσα στην Μονεμβασιά, πρέπει να μείνεις εδώ! Το δωμάτιο καθαρό, μικρό και με μερική θέα θάλασσα...Πιστεύω ότι υπάρχουν με καλύτερη θέα απλά το πληρώνεις! Ένα θέμα με το μπάνιο που χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση γρήγορα...Η κουρτίνα του λουτρού στα πλην όπως και ο θόρυβος του ανεμιστήρα εξαερισμού...Το πρωινό καλό, αλλά θέλει μια μικρή βελτίωση! Είχα ένα πρόβλημα με το αυτοκίνητο όπου ο ιδιοκτήτης με βοήθησε πάρα πολύ! Αν έμενα πάλι; Ναι σίγουρα!

Wow wat een bijzondere locatie! Prachtige sfeervol ingerichte kamer met een terras wat uitkijkt over het vestingstadje, de zee en aan de linkerkant de vestingmuur. Geen last van voorbij lopende toeristen, dit is Genieten! Heerlijk bed, lekkere douche, goed ontbijt en aardige mensen. Her hotel heeft ook een leuke bar om iets lekkers te nuttigen.

Μέσα στο Κάστρο της παραδοσιακής Μονεβασίας, ένα συγκρότημα που παρέχει αξιοπρεπή διαμονή. Δωμάτια σε καλή κατάσταση, καθαρά. Απλή, κομψή επίπλωση. Όμορφη θέα και περιβάλλων χώρος με παραδοσιακό καφενείο με "τραπεζάκια έξω". Πλούσιο, σχετικά πρωϊνό, με παραδοσιακά εδέσματα. Η έναρξή του στις 8.30 είναι μάλλον καθυστερημένη.

Un hôtel splendide, des chambres magnifiques installées dans un vieux bastion avec vue sur la mer : on a l'impression de dormir dans un château fort! Salles de bains magnifiques. Vue époustouflante sur la vieille ville et sur la mer. Accueil très aimable et très professionnel. Mon meilleur petit déjeuner de tout le séjour en Grèce, copieux, frais, varié, avec des produits locaux.

Υπέροχη τοποθεσία, υπέροχη θέα! Το προσωπικό φιλικό και χαμογελαστό! Εξαιρετικό πρωινό! Το standard δωμάτιο που κλείσαμε εμείς ήταν λιγάκι μικρό αλλά ήταν το τελευταίο διαθέσιμο οπότε ίσως παίζει ρόλο και αυτό, τα υπόλοιπα στις φώτο φαίνονται μεγαλύτερα! Πεντακάθαρο, κάθε μέρα μας άλλαζαν πετσέτες και σεντόνια! Το μπαλκονάκι εξαιρετικό με υπέροχη θέα! Ήρεμη τοποθεσία, τι βραδακι καθόσουν έξω και δεν άκουγες τπτ, απλά απολάμβανες τον ουρανό και την θάλασσα!

Hotel carino, dove eravamo già stati anni fa, posizionato alla fine della passeggiata della magnifica Monemvasia, paese visitabile solo a piedi con salita impegnativa sul castro, da vedere assolutamente, in posizione isolata e tranquilla. Andrebbe energicamente rinfrescato negli arredi e servirebbe maggiore pulizia, visto il prezzo non popolare della camera. Non ha ristorante, ma un grazioso bar, da utilizzare però la sera. Colazione e disponibilità del personale nella norma. Parcheggio della macchina arduo, se non impossibile.

Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience. Medieval streets lead to hotel. The rooms are just full of character and felt like sleeping in a castle. However it did have the modern conveniences that we need now days. The breakfast was fabulous. The views are breathtaking.

Very comfortable beds and very charming stone room. The view from our terrace was amazing and the guy at the desk was very pleasant, smiling and helpful. The hotel is at the far end of the town so it's a long walk if you have heavy luggage. I liked the quite location at the edge of town and they light the ramparts side wall at night. View is stunning. We just sat in the bar outside and ordered a bottle of water (we were exhausted from climbing the fortress under the scorching sun). The lady asked me with hostility if we were going to order only water. When I paid by card (didn't have cash) she turned very aggressive and insulting. Never experienced such a miserable hospitality in this wonderful country.

I understand the location of the hotel, as in it’s built into a mountain, but it was infested with woodlouse. There were over 200 dead and alive woodlouse in our room. They were in the bed, towels and EVERYWHERE. Upon arrival we were shown our room and the man just kicked the dead ones aside and shrugged. The breakfast was poor, the worst I have seen in my 30 years of travelling Greece. There was some confusion at check out and the way it was dealt with was atrocious. The man on reception was rude and obnoxious. Great location but I would avoid at all costs.

Beautiful hotel in an historic mansion overlooking the ocean. Truly deserves the title "boutique hotel": a lot of furniture was made especially for the room, as well as the windows, all in quality wood. Not a spot of paint on the wood, great attention to detail. Very clean, actually spotless. Great breakfast in beautiful room. We slept in two different rooms: one with a high beam ceiling with a terrasse looking out to the fortress and the sea, and another one on the ground floor that looked like an antique cellar: spectacular! The hotel also had a cafe that was really sought out because of its great location. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay here and loved the view from the balcony of our room. It is a bit of a slog to get to the hotel with luggage. Definitely use the porters waiting to help you at the castle gate…they were detained when we arrived, but we did hire one for the way out!

First, the good. The staff at Bastione Malvasia is friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is great. Yes, it is at the end of the main street, so farther to walk, but it means you get unobstructed views of the city wall and see and it is exceptionally quiet at night. Our private terrace, as well as the terrace for the hotel cafe, was stunning and relaxing. This hotel also had the best mattresses and bed linens out of anywhere I have ever stayed in Greece. The toiletries and water pressure were good, as was the wifi signal. The room was a triple, and was very spacious with a bed upstairs and downstairs and unique features like rock right in the room. However, the room did suffer, probably due to its location in an abandoned town on a rock. From dusk til midmorning, our room was full of pill bugs. I was okay with this, as pill bugs are harmless and good for the ecosystem, but there were over 15 - in my bed, on the walls, on the floor where I stepped. Not sure the hotel could help it, but I will say the doors did not seal well and there were no screens in the doors. I hike and camp and was fine, but I think many people would not be okay paying 110 Euro a night (good value otherwise) to sleep with bugs. The only other issue we had was that you were not allowed to take your breakfast to the terrace because it is part of the cafe - you must eat inside, which due to COVID, we did not prefer. The breakfast was high quality though, and the windows were kept open.
