Hotelletje ligt midden in het dorp, dat is leuk. Nadeel is wel dat je je auto niet bij het hotel kan parkeren en op 5-10 minuten lopen op een openbare en betaalde parkeerplaats moet zetten. Dat is niet fijn als je auto volgepakt is meet vakantie spullen. En niet fijn om met je bagage die je in het hotel nodig hebt zo'n stuk te moeten lopen over de kasseien. Ik kreeg een kamer op zolder, en moest ook nog eens 4 trappen op met mijn bagage. Hulp vanuit het hotel was er niet. Ik had het hotel uitgezocht omdat het een restaurant en bar/terras had. Heerlijk buiten eten en daarna zo je bed in rollen was mijn idee. Alleen het restaurant en het terras gingen om 18.00 al dicht. Overigens, ook overal elders in het dorp was alles al om 20.00 gesloten. (Helaas had de hoteleigenaar dit niet van te voren aangegeven.) De kamer is oké, maar erg basic voor een prijs van over de 100,00. In de badkamer is alleen een eenvoudige wastafel; niet eens een plankje om je badtas oid neer te zetten. Wifi deed het nauwelijks. Er was alleen een wit doorzichtig rolgordijn voor het raam, dus 's ochtends erg licht in de kamer. Ik had geboekt via Booking, maar moest bij het afrekenen 5,00 meer betalen dan de prijs die ik bij Booking had geboekt. Geen groot bedrag, maar wel raar dat er verschil zit in de prijs. Bij het navragen achteraf waarom dit is, hebben noch Booking, noch het hotel gereageerd.

You comment about the bathroom and the blind is very helpful. Thank you. We are sad reading, that obviously you did not enjoy your stay as much as we would have liked to, but we always try to give our guests as much useful information before arrival as possible. The Hotel is located in the centre of the medieval town and the cobblestones are part of the special atmosphere. It is mentioned in our description that the hotel does not have a lift (there is no hotel in the old part of Monschau with a lift) and all our guests also receive an Email informing about this. Also you have received this information. The room is located in the 2nd floor (NOT the 4th) from the guest entrance and the 3rd floor from the restaurant entrance. We also provide detailed information about the parking possibilities and we also explain that you may drive into the old town with your car to drop of the luggage. Most probably you did not read this information either? Our staff members carry the luggage to the room if this is wished by the guest. The restaurant opening times are also mentioned on the internet and we inform our guests again on arrival. The opening times are from 08:00 - 18.00 h. We received your request to *********** about a double payment and we have informed already that this was not the case. Anyhow we will check again about the mentioned rate difference of 5 Euro. Heel fijn klein hotel (slechts 10 kamers), in het centrum van de oude stad. Heerlijk bed, goede kussens, alleen omdat het wat oud is, is het wel gehorig. Dus neem wel oordoppen mee, anders hoor je veel. Ontbijt is heel netjes en vriendelijk verzorgd, niks op aan te merken!

nachdem wir im internet nach einem hotel für die zeit unserer goldhochzeit suchten entschieden wir uns für "alt montjoie" in monschau. in dem familiengeführten hotel in der monschauer innenstadt hatten wir für sieben tage gebucht und fanden es sehr nett und freundlich und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. eine zuvorkommende bedienung im gastraum und die gutbürgerliche küche haben uns gut gefallen. auch über ordnung und sauberkeit können wir nur gutes sagen. alles in allem hat uns das hotel gut gefallen. wir haben eine schöne zeit verbracht und sagen danke!

Wir waren an einem Samstag im Januar da, allerdings nur im Restaurant. Das war allerdings von Anfang bis Ende eine Enttäuschung.... Die Karte, die draussen hängt minimiert sich innen dann auf etwa die Hälfte. Leider sind davon fast alle vegetarischen Gerichte betroffen! Darauf angesprochen, konnte uns die Bedienung dazu leider nichts sagen. Die bestellten Gerichte waren dann allesamt aus der Tiefkühlung oder aus der Dose. Die Pommes schmeckten nach altem Fett und die Menge ließ bei den Preisen mehr als zu wünschen übrig. Darauf angesprochen ging unsere Kritik im Nichts unter. Zu allem Überfluss saßen wir nach unserer ersten völlig schalen Apfelschorle auf dem" Trockenen". Das war leider ein echter Reinfall und wir ( 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) würden dieses Restaurant nicht weiter empfehlen.

這是一家不錯的三星級飯店，但僅此而已。您獲得的價值與您支付的價值相符。它確實位於中心的中央。床墊可以稍微好一點，它們下陷得太厲害了。簡單的自助早餐。但我們沒有抱怨。

漂亮、小巧、略顯陳舊的飯店。房間乾淨，早餐美味，可應要求提供新鮮的雞蛋菜餚 地理位置優越，位於老城區中心 員工友好 房間內提供水和茶/咖啡設施 床很舒服，有足夠的枕頭

We ate something there in the evening. The food was not expensive and they brought it really really fast, but is was way worse than any roadrestaurant. The snitzels where cheap like chickennuggets but nuggets are better. Bad quality food here.. Soup asperges had nog asperges in it but was ok i guess. And personally i hate curry and my sausage was covered in it, not for me. Service was fast because we were the last guests and they closed after us. But it was not warm friendly service.

The owner wanted two grown men in my party to sleep in a single bed for 1 night. He would not accept credit or debit cards, only cash. We were a group of 16 staying for 4 nights We had 16 steak meals at around 20 euros each for 2 of the 4 evenings, but he still charged 1.80 for a small dish of mayonaise. He tried to charge us for beers drunk by another group. He advised us there was secure parking which turned out to be a public car park.

Awful rude and bullying service. Everything service should not be. The actual staff could hardly understand what we wanted. The ? Owner barged in and ordered us about Ugh!!! I would not come again Beer 4.90 for 0.5 Weiss 3.20 for bitburger. Both cheap beers hardly worth drinking but as usual.in this area no choice. That's all they have. Unfriendly ridiculous place. Pity could be so.much better.

The bar is ina nice spot slightly away and plenty of room, not squashed in , the lady of the house charming and friendly but the older gentleman there really needs to smile and make people feel welcome. The food and drinks are fine , no complaints at all, location good, but come on smile.

We were at the restaurant, the service was awful. The waitress was ignorant and rude, did not speak any English. We asked for salt and olive oil for our salad, the answer was that it had dressing and is ok..
