艾爾里斯旅館(Airlies Historical Guest House)

We stayed in Montagu for two days climbing. My friends had stayed in Aitlies before and liked it so much they booked it again. It is now part of a more modern guesthouse on the same terrain. But we loved the old style rooms we stayed in. Comfortable beds, nice bath, great location. Breakfast served at the other lodge was wonderful : three courses with a choice of eggs or quiche and goos coffee. Friendly staff and good service. I will certainly book Airlies next time I stay in Montagu.

Very quaint and historical that suited the town. We stayed in the classic section rather than the modern section of the property.

While we booked here, the guest house is managed by the adjacent more modern Monte Vista Boutique Hotel. Our host Pauline and her team were incredibly welcoming and very helpful in providing recommendations on what to do and see nearby. Our delicious breakfasts were served in the Monte Vista, but our room (for three people) was in the annex of Airlies. There are two pools and an honesty bar, and secure off street parking. I would go again.
