The swimming pool smelled salty like too much urine from the many children playing in the water. The room was in an adjoining section across the street on the second floor or first floor above the street, as such being handicapped or elderly the isolation can be an issue in an emergency. The balcony over the street life was enjoyable, with nice ambiance without being loud, if you close the balcony doors there is no sound. What really ruined our stay were the male waiters. One cut in between us without excusing himself while we were in line for dinner, another rudely belittled my Mother who although on the pre paid meal plan wanted better treatment paying for the full menu if we could be seated by a window and order seafood which was not on the preplanned all you can eat heaping dishes for tourists. The hotel restaurant has a two tier service, one prepaid with lots of filler like pasta, and another for paying customers with specialized dishes. Being dissapointed the next day we had three courses with seafood at a nearby restaurant, La Cascina, for just about 100 Euros.

Super location and nice rooms. Unfortunately a lot of coach parties arrived during and stay so it was super busy. I actually caught covid from one of the party who coughed all over me :(( Also when I asked for a towel for poolside I was rudely spoken to. Breakfast nothing special and breakfast room too busy Would stay again but choose my time

We picked the Da Vinci as it is close to the railway station, and we planned to use the train for our travel around Tuscany. Its not in the centre of town, but is good for a short walk to the centre, and a walk to the beautifully peaceful Torretta Park, and the adjacent Tettuccio Spa, and the Funicular railway to Montecatino Alto. Opposite is a nice restaurant (albeit service is a bit slow). The reception staff were good, but I think there could have been more information available about excursions to other parts of Tuscany. They were unable to provide much info about car hire. The room itself was excellent, nice balcony, super shower, very clean and the cleaning staff came in as often as we wanted them to. There was a lot on offer at breakfast, a typical continental buffet breakfast with as much to eat as you want. Dinner was on offer at the hotel opposite, but the menu was a little on the minimal side. We did not try it. Overall, I would recommend the Da Vinci as it offers good value for money.

One night stay in Tuscany, at the Tuscany Inn Hotel. the staff were very friendly and our check in was easy. Our room was one of the biggest we have ever stayed in. And a massive bathroom, all designed to be wheelchair accessible. Comfortable bed and pillows, the bathroom was well appointed. We were let down by the included dinner though, had the vegetarian burger with tomatoes and peas, not overly impressed.

I liked this hotel very much. The location suited us, we had a car and used the public free carpark opposite the hotel during our stay. The vibe in the hotel was quite laid back and relaxed, we would have liked a bit more information on check in as we haven't stayed in the area before, however when we asked about anything the staff where more than helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast which had lots of choice, I would have liked more fruit available - fruit salad and omelettes where charged extra, which I thought was unusual as they are normally standard on breakfast buffets. The food we ate at the hotel was very good. The room: All rooms are different, some have baths and some do not, we changed our room on arrival as it had a bath but no sofa in the room, I would advise to be specific on your requirements prior to arrival. The member of staff who dealt with this for us was excellent and took time to show us available rooms. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the room during the day and really benefited from having a sofa. Bathroom was spacious and well equipped, bed large/comfortable, on the 4th floor windows are small but we were at the back of the hotel which was quiet. Bedroom and lounge area separate. I would point out that the room lacked drawers for clothing and I used my suitcase for this during the stay, it also appeared to lack a full length mirror (only mirror above the sink in the bathroom) - adding these items would make the room more comfortable. The area: Montecatini is a very pleasant town with lots of lovely restaurants and interesting places to visit. We went up to Montecatini alto to eat in the evening and worked our way around the restaurants - they are all outstanding, we had some of the best Italian food at Caffè Giusti', so pretty at night and a great atmosphere. If you don't have a car you can get to Montecatini alto by funicular - the views/sunsets are amazing. This was our favourite place for the evening. I would go back to this hotel for the lovely area, pleasant staff and great local restaurants. Spacious well equipped rooms.
