孤獨橡木小屋(Lone Oak Lodge)

They only got 3 stars for service only because my son had forgot the room number when he went to get pizza it was our first day at that hotel . So he went upfront to get the room number and lady at front desk held him there and finally called my room and she said I couldn’t have anyone there that my booking was for one person which it wasn’t I asked her where my son and car were because now she has held him up so long I’m 25 min late for work she says she wasn’t gonna tell me which I was like *** ? So I went down there showed her my reservation that had two guests. I told her I had to go I was now late for work and she continued to try to hold me up I told her I would come by in morning after work she proceeds to tell me that she was gonna call cops on me for what I do not know but that my boss had to call in 30 min or she was calling the law . I told her that she was in the wrong not I or my son . My son tells me that she told him that she doesn’t rent to …. Pause looks him up and down and tells him people like u . Still I do not know what she meant by that he is a 21 year old kid he is white and has long hair so I’m not sure what she was referring to by that . What is people like my son white ? Cause he has long hair ? Not too sure but that was bothersome to me she said that .. But what I can say is that the owner or manager he called my son to apologize and told him she went to far it was for security purposes her not telling him what room but she took it too far and he made it right . It was a nice room big and very clean from the outside I they look a lil old but it’s surprisingly newly remodeled and spacious rooms

Newly remodeled, pleasant to stay, good price until hassled everyday about cleaning the room. The owner seemed more interested in saving the cleaning fee, he even questioned my decision when I wanted a room service daily. I gave up and never got room cleaning. For this reason I will never stay there again. The owners greed cost him hundreds!

It’s a great hotel to stay at when traveling with family. Half of their rooms are upgraded and half of them are not. We stayed at one that is not updated, however, it was clean and met our expectations. We had a great time from check-in to check-out.

We loved everything about our stay here. We stayed in the king with a fireplace. The bed was comfortable, shower water pressure was amazing, fireplace was a beautiful added touch, the bathroom was huge and the Inns staff were very friendly with helpful suggestions on where to eat. Thank you for such a great experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Monterey.

Great family owned place and very convenient to the Fairgrounds (walkable 10m). Nice touches like landscaped flowers and excellent friendly service. No cons. Would benefit from darker curtains. But the parking lot and walkways are well lit which I appreciate. Overall, recommended! I felt safe and extended my stay by a night.

Checking in upon arrival was as easy as checking out. The guy at the front desk was extraordinarily friendly and approachable, but didn't overdo it. We decided for an overnight stay on rather short notice and everything was set up nicely. The room was much better, than expected. New equipment, fridge, coffee and shower supplies as promised. We slept much better than in our actual hotel. So, the Lone Oak Lodge is very comfortable. 🤗

Well the hotel is conveniently located, dining options nearby. The room we had including kitchen are very old and were smelling like crazy. We downgraded to 2 Queen rooms, they are newly built and good rooms. Will recommend for the new queen rooms
