藍色太平洋酒店(Blu Pacific Hotel)

For what it is, it is great. There are lots of motels on Fremont and from what I have seen from my many times staying in Monterey this might be the best for a standard motel. I have stayed in hotels/motels downtown near Alvarado Street and this was essentially equal unless you want to pay way more then I'm sure you will find better. Never an issue here, not fancy but not bad at all. Will definitely always stay here unless I feel like staying a lot closer to Cannery Row (which is always hundreds more). Plus this hotel is only less than a 10 minute drive away from there and even closer to Sand City which also has great beer and food. I easily recommend this hotel.

The property was close to downtown Monterey. We liked that a lot. We didn’t like that it was a little run down, heard our neighbors next door talking loud late at night and there was a used dental floss by our bed that didn’t belong to us. Stayed for a couple nights and made it work.

No TV! We are TWO deaf travelers and were expecting closed captions to be available since all TVs were required to have the technology incorporated in American TVs. But no, Blu Pacific boughpcheap TVs, probably from a Mexican or Central or south American country (The menus were in Spanish). Thanks to the miserly misery of these cheapskates, we had no TV access during our stay

I booked 4 rooms for our friends reunion touring monterey. Very disappointed. Found hairs in pillows and sheets are crumpled like was Just straightened. The staff wanted to transfer us out but too tired at midnight. My friends also found hair in their pillows

The surroundings are always clean. However the noise from Flights over head was loud. But tolerable. However some Of the furniture needs to be looked at…lots of nils and scratches. Also the water pressure in the shower is awful.

Room had lots of hair in it, a spider, and trash had not been taken out when I got there. There is no room service on multiple night stays. Charged me an early check in fee when I was the only person staying at this hotel. Rooms were not clean at all.

It was an old hotel and while they tried to update and refresh things the mold around the bathroom window had not been dealt with adequately. The outside was cute and appeared to be well maintained. There was a lot of street noise. Would not stay there again
