拉普拉德拉小屋(Cabañas la Pradera)

Super recomedado. Cabañas amplias y cómodas. Bien equipadas y apartadas del centro pero sin estar lejos. En medio de jardines bien cuidados y en ambiente de conexión con la naturaleza. Resalto también la buena atención y disponibilidad para conectar con tours y paseos.

Un accueil très aimable : tout le personnel est toujours prêt à rendre service et à nous montrer dans quel arbre se cache le paresseux lorsqu'il est présent dans la propriété. Agréables cabanes confortables, nichées dans la verdure: un vrai "jardin d'Eden"! il n'est pas rare de voir passer un agouti, et de nombreux oiseaux nous tiennent compagnie. La balade traversant les plantations de café, bananes, cannes à sucre est très pédagogique et de nombreux panneaux nous renseignent sur le nom des animaux de que nous pouvons éventuellement observer, et sur les différentes plantes. Une adresse idéale à recommander !

Realmente excelente lugar

Family of 5 stayed for 2 nights. Warm welcome and the cabin was spacious for us (could have slept 8-9) and parking right next door. There was no air-con. We had fans in each bedroom but one didn’t work. This wasn’t a big issue as the air in Monteverde was cooler than elsewhere. There was a very rustic feel to the cabins - it was great to watch the bird life outside, but not quite as fun evicting lizards, ants and spiders from the rooms (I accept this is a part of nature in CR). The trail round the property was lovely and we did spot a sloth. We didn’t use the on site pool - it didn’t really appeal at the time. Construction work on site starting at 7am meant an early wake up. Overall the accommodation was fine, but for the standard of accommodation the price felt a little much. We paid similar for much more luxurious lodgings elsewhere during our trip.

We enjoyed our short stay at this property. The nature hike was educational - I think we even saw a Quetzal. Kitchen was well equipped but we didn’t really get a chance to use it. We were able to sit out on our quiet deck to watch the stars and the birds in the morning. Staff were very kind. quiet

Check in was quick and easy and the host was friendly and knowledgeable. The cabin, however, was in need of refurbishing. While it was quite clean inside, one bathroom smelled so strongly of mold that we could not use it. Fortunately we had booked a larger cabin than we needed (it was the only unit available when we booked) so it had two bathrooms, otherwise we would have had to find alternate accommodations. It appears that the establishment reinvests little in their facilities as this cabin was very rough. The mattress and pillows were ancient and lumpy and the place was rustic to the point of shabby. The kitchen and bathroom sinks had no hot water taps, only the shower had hot water. I cannot recommend this place to others.
