這家酒店位置離老城和獨立廣場的景點都是步行距離很近，而且房間乾淨整潔，冰箱和電熱水器都提供，房價還包了早餐，而且還很不錯的早餐。雖然不在新城海灘那邊，但是性價比來説已經很值，真是無敵。入住可以考慮。

I regularly visit Montevideo for academic business and Mercure Punta Carretas turned out to be the best accommodation I ever had in the Uruguayan capital. The location almost directly on the shore of the Rio de la Plata is very pleasant, there is a sea food restaurant open until late. The rooms of the Mercure are OK (nothing fancy but there is everything one needs), yet the quality of the stay is nonetheless outstanding. The breakfast buffet is delicious (homemade granola among other), there is a co-working space and a gym on the top floor. The gym is tiny, there is a complete set of dumbbells, a stationary bike and a yoga mat, all of quality but that's it. However, this is enough to throw in a good session while the view on the Plata is breathtaking. Last but not least, cheers to the friendly, helpful and absolutely trustworthy staff! Highly recommended.

Café da manhã bem fraco. O banheiro tem banheira e como Box cortina, o que além de dificultar quem tem pouca mobilidade ainda molha tudo. A camareira deixou a janela aberta após a arrumação, pedi que não deixasse ( medo de entrar alguém e insetos ), porém não fui atendida. Todos os dias chegava e a janela estava aberta.

Chegamos pela meia noite e não tinha ninguém para nós receber, tivemos que aguardar na rua até que que alguém aparecesse. A garagem não fica no hotel e sim em uma rua lateral. O guarda da garagem muito grosseiro. Seja bom de braço para subir 5 andares com seu carro através de rampas apertadas. O quarto estava sujo, com tufos de cabelo e poeira pelo chao. As roupas de cama manchadas e encontramos uma unha no lençol. O banheiro não vê uma limpeza há tempos, havia sabotene usado no bidê. Perto de tudo isso o café da manhã quebra um galho. Tivemos uma péssima experiência que resolvemos fazer checkout logo na manhã seguinte.

Acomodação que atendeu bem as expectativas, confortável, tranquilo e limpo. Funcionários educados e atenciosos. Ótima localização, perto de vários restaurantes e lanchonetes, lojas, e pontos turísticos. Certamente, é um local que voltaria a me hospedar. Café da manhã também muito bom, simples mas com opções de café, leite, chá, iogurte, suco, pães, bolo, etc.

This hotel was very disappointing for me and my wife. Looking at the pictures and the previous reviews, I really thought we would stay in a great hotel, but the reality was different. We did the reservation for a standard room, the pictures don't show how small they are. The room that they gave us was on the 2nd floor, and the window was direct to a central air conditioning machine (I suppose it is). It's a big machine, terrible view, but also terrible noise. They turn it off at 6:30pm, and turn it on at 08:30am. If you want to sleep in it is impossible, or if you want to take a nap in the afternoon, impossible too. Besides that there is a door in the room, to the next room, it's obviously closed, but you can hear everything from your neighborhood. The bathroom is ok, towels are good and clean. But when you take a shower the floor gets all wet, even with the box close, it's probably some leak. We stayed for four nights, and in two of then the air conditioning was not working. We called the reception and the answer was that they would have to call a technician, to repair it. They fixed, but in the next day it was broken again. Fortunately the weather was not so cold, and it was possible to leave the window opened, but we we had to deal with the noise coming from outside. We asked to change for a better room as soon as we arrived. But the receptionist said the hotel was full, and that in the next day they would have a free room, in a superior category, but it was necessary to pay the difference to the upgrade. We said that we have the gold benefit from **********, and this update would be for free for us. As soon as we told about the benefit, they tell us that we need to wait for the next day and see if the room would be still available, but, of course, it wasn't free anymore. Although the location of the hotel is good, we definitely wouldn't like to stay there anymore.

The hotel is amazing, accommodations are very comfortable, all was very clean. All the staff was very kind! Of course i’ll back soon! Another good point is the breakfast is delicious. Very close to Mercado del Puerto, and have a grocery store next door, have a public bus stop really near. Recommended!!
