達爾姆廣場酒店(Hotel Place d'Armes)

Very good

We stay in hotels in Montreal once a month. Hotels we choose usually 4 stars and up. We pay for our rooms between 400$ to 600$ per stay. So when I compare this hotel to others that we have stayed in Montreal this one was the by far the worst for the price you pay. For a hotel in this price range I found it was nothing special about it. They try to market their rooms with pictures that does not match the hotel rooms. Only reason I booked a room in this hotel and paid close to 500 $ was for a room that they showed in pictures with 2 floors junior suite but I ended up getting a one studio room. When I asked them they told me they have only 2 rooms with 2 floors and its written in their website about it. I didnt see it of course since they wont write this on their website clear enough so its a click bait.Only thing was good about the room was high ceiling. You can hear the noises outside till 4 am in the morning since windows are not well isolated. furnitures in the room are about the break. When you sit on the small chairs you are about to fall. They got very little amenities for a hotel in this caliber. Customer service was great though. Obviously its a touristic place so prices are extremely high on everything you wanna purchase. Breakfast at Braserie in the hotel was terible and expensive. Although when you see the building ,reception and amenities you think its a beautiful hotel but there are way better options in Montreal for the price you pay. Disappointed and regretted.

Amazing friendly and helpful staff! Super quaint, cozy and clean hotel. We lovvvvvved the beds and pillows and comforters! Sooo luxurious! And the little touches (heavy cotton waffleweave robes and slippers!). Just HANDS DOWN the best place we stayed in our 3 country, 2-week trip!!

If you book with ******* you get the the dated room near the elevator The air conditioning wasn’t working and we asked to have someone come look at - next day still not working Toilet roll was broken, faucet was loose and when we checked out they said they couldn’t do anything for us because we booked with ******* and not directly with the hotel. Beware when using booking sites, hotels don’t like it and punish you for it

We loved our stay there from the Valet who ran three times to our care to retrieve items to the concierges who booked incredible restaurants to the beautiful room with a view of the sky line, we loved our staff and can't say enough about the staff who were always friendly and very helpful. We were 2 blocks from the metro and the old city so that we never had to fight traffic to get somewhere.

Overall this hotel is great. The location is in my opinion the best place to stay in Old Montreal. One thing that was very disappointing was the quality of their towels. It’s sounds strange to review this but considering the price and expectation of this property - I was surprised that every set of towels we were given either had rips, were very worn and just generally tattered. The rooms were surface cleaned but didn’t feel very clean. The bedside tables had dust and rings on it. I have stayed there several times and this is the first time I felt compelled to review.

Le personnel était très professionnel et accueillant. La chambre était spacieuse. Mais malheureusement, on ne pouvait pas régler le chauffage et il manquait un peu d'éclairage. De plus, la fenêtre de notre chambre donnait sur l'entrée d'une boite de nuit où il y avait beaucoup de bruit jusqu'à 3h du matin!

This hotel was great. Location can’t be beat. You can walk to everywhere. The rooms are well appointed and nicely furnished. Service was better than we had hoped. The food at the terrace on top has sunset was delightful. We stay there again in a heartbeat.

Hotel is a bit run down. Room wasn’t cleaned only after approaching three times. Remote in the room not working. Reception desk seem to ignore you. Concierge not very knowledgeable. For the price and reputation I wasn’t expecting this.
