Radcliffes Lodge

It is such a great place to stay; the view from the shared areas is incredible, and the whole place is so well-fitted out and clean. There are fantastic places to eat just by the hostel as well as lots of take away places in town if cooking isn't your thing. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

Our group of 21 old friends from 15-76 years old enjoyed a second weekend stay at Radcliffes Lodge. A fabulously well designed and maintained modern hostel. Kitchen facilities are perfect for group catering and the dining/living room space with the best view for miles. The hostel is clearly loved by its staff and a perfect spot for all that the Northumberland coast has to offer whether a large or smaller group or just on your own.

Our stay at Radcliffes Lodge was wonderful. We were a Staff retreat for a not-for-profit organisation and it was a lovely weekend, the grounds are large and spacious with gorgeous views of thh coast. The building is large, sparking clean and very well equiped. But what really made our trip was the helpfullness of the staff. A huge shout out to Tony who was super helpful when we had some technical issues. He was extremely accomodating and helped us get sorted. I would highly reccomend staying here as individuals or as a group. Many thanks for a great service!

Radcliffes is top quality accommodation without being fussy. Streamlined kitchen to eat in and plenty of options to eat out. Lovely environment and suited everybody in the family.Met some lovely people too! So much to see and do in the area

We hired the full house and had a fabulous time. Tony our host, could not have been more helpful. We had everything we needed and more. Amble and the surrounding areas are just lovely We will be back! Thanks again

We stayed in the Hemingway 3 bedroom apar**ent which was simply excellent. The standard of accommodation was first class including a hot tub on the balcony! Tony and his team provide excellent service in such a clean environment. Certainly a venue we will come to again when visiting the North East.

Staff are very friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in had 2 bunk beds with ensuite. It was very clean very quite also. There is a big kitchen (cereal, bread, milk, tea, coffee etc are supplied) next to a really big lounge area. When I was there, every one there seemed responsible and cleared up after themselves. There is also a place to store your bikes. On my visit I will rate the whole stay 10 out of 10.

A first class place to stay, the owner has provided top quality accommodation which should meet all the needs of anyone staying there, particularly cyclists & hikers. Can’t fault this place & am looking for an excuse to go back in the near future, possibly with the grandchildren next time.

We didn't know what to expect. But once we got there.we found the room excellent. With shower facilities spotlessly clean.the kitchen was also spotlessly clean with everything you need for cooking your own meals. The staff were brilliant took time out to ask how things were.a great experience
