雅詩閣套房酒店(Ascot Suites Morro Bay)

Rooftop patio was a total mess and the seagulls have made it home. Very disappointing would be a great place for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The new interior design has given the property a very cheap feel. The locking up of the lobby and breakfast area till 7am was a bit inconvenient. I have stayed here so many times over the past 30 years but this sadly will be my last. Better places and rates with more to offer.

We had an unfortunate experience with Ascot Suites. I booked a Queen Suite that (should have) slept 4 people. The description stated the room included a queen bed with a double sofa bed. On arrival, our room had a queen bed and a small chaise lounge, no double sofa bed for my children to sleep on. We also encountered multiple, long, dark hairs in the sheets. So, needless to say we decided to leave the hotel since they would not accommodate our family AND the fact that we were thoroughly grossed out with the condition of the room. They refunded us for 2 of the nights, BUT have yet to refund us for the first night even though we never stayed at their property. We have gotten the run around stating corporate had to get involved. The manager has never called us or reached out. We have made ALL the attempts to reach them.

This property has done a lot of renovation and many will find the new modern decorations to their liking, however, in the rush to complete there were issues in our room (see below). 1. No door handle to barn door style bathroom door 2. No toliet paper dispenser in bath, was on the floor. 3. The room a/c leaked water profusely onto the floor, we had to use a trash can to collect the water. 4. The balcony was totally covered with bird poop. You couldn't sit in the chairs etc.

Well i stayed there 7/15 to 7/16 for 344.41. First rm we were put in wasn't totally cleaned and stains on the carpet. Also the fireplace did not work. Then got put in 205 which was better but no screen on patio door. None of the rooms had a phone to call the office or housekeeping. Tried to use the spa tub and didn't work. Then the motor to tub kept trying to run all night an keot us both up. Then we ask fir a partial refund. And were told we would be contacted by management. It's been 2 weeks ive heard nothing. Cant even leave a message to get back to me. Because no voicemail is set up an i haven't been able to reach a live person as well. Very unprofessional.

The room had other people's hair on the balcony floor and bathroom. We had to ask for a bathtub stopper and the coffee machine was cone shaped with an oval filter, the Keurig cups wouldn't fit. The continental breakfast was slim pickings. However, Kai the receptionist went above and beyond to help us.

Fireplace not working. When asked employee, they mentioned they couldn’t do anything about it because some are missing parts. Remote control buttons to TV did not work. Blow dryer was not in the area that was explained on the paper given during check in. The bath tub was dirty. The wall behind the dresser was dirty. It seemed like coffee was spilled.
