The Good: Location: Beautiful, right on the beach Staff: Very friendly Breakfast: A nice buffet included with your stay The Bad: Mold: Bathroom ceiling/wall covered in it from not keeping AC and bathroom fan on. Aging: the salt water has corroded everything. Needs a renovation. Some tired furniture as well. AC in our first room (a very nice room that has been fixed up recently) was broken. We booked here because it was listed as 4 star, was reasonably priced, and the location right on the water can't be beat! It looks to be a once nice resort, but it's tired and needs a lot of work. The night staff was very friendly when we arrived late and took good care of us. Very friendly! We got to our room, the honeymoon suite, and it looked great, but the AC was broken. They moved us down the hall to the family suite. Very large. They apologized that the television in one room had been moved to another room... but it was late, there was a TV in the 2nd room of the suite, and we were tired. The AC worked well in that second room. Then we saw the bathroom. It smelled musty, and when we looked up into the corner above the shower it was covered in black mold! We cranked the AC and left the light / fan on for a while and it smelled better... but it's moldy (the AC was off when we came into the suite, so it's humid... can't shut off the AC to save electricity when you're at the beach). Everything is corroded and moldy because of it. It needs a scrubbing and a coat of Kilz paint. It is listed currently as a 4-star hotel, but I would say it's grasping desperately at 3 stars...

3 star at best. The only good thing is the view. Power cuts as well at breakfast (why no gas burners or generators) Dark and dingy - all very tired and run down - seem to be full of low rent holiday makers. very disappointing.. there must be somewhere better in town

what an absolute waste of such a perfect setting!!!!! front desk service was worse than poor. no one knew what they were doing. we were knocked awake just before 24h00 by a staff member checking if the room was occupied. no TV reception. shower floor tiles were lifting. the breakfast and service was very good. Dinner was very pricey and not to be recommended. hotel looks derelict and needs urgent maintenance and overall uplift

Location made up for an average stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Waiting time on food (dinner) and cleaning of rooms unacceptable. The place has so much potential - loungers and better outside furniture would make such a difference on the patio of the rooms. The patio is such a nice size, and the views are wonderful, but that chairs let you down. Even in the dining room, outside furniture and umbrellas would make such a difference and would not cost much to put in place. We would have like to sit outside and enjoy the view whilst having a drink,lunch or dinner.

Thank you for excellent service and hospitality. Our stay was memorable! The Hotel offered breakfast which was included with the daily rate. Value for money. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. Hope to see you soon.

What a lovely stay. Very comfortable room. All the amenties needed. The location is great. Except that if it is misty the fog horn is very close. Service was very goof and the breakfast compared well to most hotels I have stayed in.
